In their continued effort to better the game at the grassroots level, iHoops will be doing some work during NBA All-Star weekend. And of course they filled SLAM in on the event. From our friends at iHoops:

WHAT: iHoops, the youth basketball initiative of the NBA and NCAA, in partnership with the Entertainment League (E League) celebrity basketball league and Ball Up Streetball will dedicate a court for refurbishment and conduct a basketball skills clinic with kids from Challengers Boys & Girls Club on Sunday, Feb. 20 from 10am-to -11am.
As part of the community spirit of NBA All-Star, the iHoops dedication at Challengers — which has provided critical services for more than 32,000 at-risk and economically disadvantaged youth in South Central L.A. for more than 40 years — will include E League celebrity players, Ball Up stars, and current and former NBA players.
Over the next couple of months, iHoops and Spalding, the official marketing partner of iHoops, will refurbish Challenger’s outdoor court. iHoops’ founding partner Nike originally installed the court in 2001. iHoops will also provide basketballs and T-shirts.
