    doesnt matter, they’ll still lose

  • Dma Posted: Nov.26 at 11:56 am
is there really a difference these days between SG and SF as a position? As long as you’re on the floor with the ball and have the greenlight to shoot who cares what position it’s called.

  • Roy Posted: Nov.26 at 12:26 pm
    free Kevin Durant…

  • Jeter Posted: Nov.26 at 12:34 pm
Durant can’t make his teammates better.

  • Moose Posted: Nov.26 at 12:44 pm
True dat, Roy. And Durant should be able to play swingman, but he should bulk up.

  • B. Long Posted: Nov.26 at 12:57 pm
What is all this Free Kevin Durant b.s. ? They’re a young team with young talent that just moved across the country. I know everyone hates Clay Bennett but give the man a decent shot at being successful with the franchise that drafted him, damn.

idc what durant is. but russell westbrooke should be the starting pg at ALL times.

  • niQ Posted: Nov.26 at 1:33 pm
i wouldn’t mind westbrook at SG

  • LA Huey Posted: Nov.26 at 1:52 pm
KD trying to D up LeBron? Ouch. Might want to call Tayshaun up for advice. co-sign B. Long. This isn’t like KG in his last couple years in Minny. Slim just got in the league. He’s gotta pay some dues before we can cry on his behalf.

  • Allenp Posted: Nov.26 at 2:27 pm
He better start rebounding and passing.

  • Joey Whelan Posted: Nov.26 at 3:54 pm
Durant still looks like he needs a couple of years to get stronger and develop the rest of his game. Right now he reminds me of a more talented Allan Houston, a guy that will give you points, but little of anything else.

  • Roy Posted: Nov.26 at 4:29 pm
It’s good to see KD play small forward again. I agree he needs to bulk up a little bit. :D

  • what Posted: Nov.26 at 4:30 pm
    Co-sign Allenp.

  • Allenp Posted: Nov.26 at 5:04 pm
    What
The funny thing is Bill Simmons and other folks are clowning Greg Oden and wondering if he is a bust, but nobody is discussing the fact that Durant is nothing like the phenom he was in college. It’s obvious dude understands basketball, but he is really struggling to be an elite player.

  • buggsie7_aus Posted: Nov.26 at 11:58 pm
He would be a much better player if he had someone else that could actually play at the nba level on his team.

  • Teddy-the-Bear Posted: Nov.27 at 1:04 am
@ Allenp: Hmmm, he’s a sophomore player and he’s kicking major @ss in the league. You call that struggling?

  • jed Posted: Nov.27 at 6:26 am
His natural position, or the position that could make him a legend is power forward. Isn’t that what was eventually forecasted for him during the draft? I know that’s a distant memory now because he’s so skinny it looks impossible that he’ll ever be able to bang in the post and he’s been way out in the perimeter but he wasn’t touted as a mix of Garnett, Nowitzki and McGrady for nothing. He has the skeletal frame of a big: he’s 6′10 and half in shoes with a 7′4 wingspan, more than enough to be a power forward. That’s nearly the identical measurements of Dwight Howard as unbelievable as that sounds. And in college anyway, he showed he could do all the things a big has to do: he grabbed double digit rebounds and blocked shots. It looked he had the build of a young rail-thin Garnett, one that could eventually mature, the perimeter skills of Nowitzki and the athleticism of a pre-injury McGrady. Now he’s morphed into strictly a perimeter player who is a below average rebounder, passer and defender for his position. Wow.

Now Mo Cheeks should be inspired to let iggy play small forward, but where does Thad Young fit in if he does?

  • rollezed Posted: Nov.27 at 8:38 am
i’d like to see the starting line up like this: watson, westbrook,KD,Wilcox and Collison. after couple of minutes they could take watson out for wilkins, and put westbrook at pg. and jeff green would be better as a 6th man. i think that would work a lot better. nothing cant get any worst though.

great durant will probably get more field goal attempts…from 30-35…he needs help not a new position

  • CiB! Posted: Nov.28 at 3:46 am
