Doc Rivers Doesn’t Get the Eddie Jordan Firing Either

“One team’s extremely young, and they want him to play the young guys, but it’s his fault somehow,” Rivers said. “And Eddie’s been a terrific coach. No way the Wizards should have made it to the playoffs last year. And Eddie got that team to the playoffs and they just forgot about it.”

Rivers is making sense, as always. Us folks over here are always making sense. Try to find something over here that someone said/did that doesn’t make sense (you can’t use Sam Cassel).

As a DC fan, I think it was a pretty terrible decision too. Some team is going to be lucky to snatch Jordan up in the future.

The problem was he wasnt playing the young guys enough. Blatche, McGee and Young would get 10-15 mins each with McGuire/Brown at 5. Compare that to the win yesterday with 20-30mins for Blatche/Young/McGee and 15-20 for Brown and McGuire

doc makes a great point because he was coach of the c’s during their worst year in franchise history which included an 18 game losing streak. fingers ainge didnt pull the trigger to get rid of doc, he stayed behind his coach like a good GM should, and it payed off in spades for the whole team. There’s your difference between a good and bad franchise.

The Wizards just had to do something. Why can’t it be on the court?

Though justified, it’s worth noting that both these coaches who’ve stuck up for Eddie Jordan have coached some miserable-ass teams. I don’t think we’ll see the Zen Master sympathizing anytime soon is what I’m saying.

this is a business jordan has a talented squad and he failed to get them motivated resulting in a 1-10 start. and being a wizards fan i havent seen the wizards play as hard that they did last night for jordan in a minute even looking back to last season. so lets go tapscott. Good luck eddie on your future job your a good coach dont sweat it.

43-39 for last year’s squad was amazing. Actually, I’m happy Jordan got fired. Hopefully, he’ll find a better team (I’m hoping Toronto). He and Jamison are the only guys I like there.

Doesn’t not using Sam Cassell just disqualify your whole comment…???
    Work it out.
