    Wow. What a surprise…..

  • H to the izzo Posted: Jun.27 at 11:04 am
    When don’t they boo?

  • Hursty Posted: Jun.27 at 11:04 am
that was pretty funny actually. LMAO at the guy spilling beer(?) over his Knicks jersey.

  • King David Posted: Jun.27 at 11:08 am
its for real though.as knicks fan they sould have drafted eric gordon or darrel arthur.its ludacris 2 pick a soft european.

  • Michael Posted: Jun.27 at 11:10 am
hmm, any reason why gordon or arthur? or why its ludcicrous to pick a euro? or how you know he is soft?

  • James The Balla Posted: Jun.27 at 11:11 am
Man i would hate to play for the knicks…

  • James The Balla Posted: Jun.27 at 11:13 am
in light of this situation … the knicks now have bargnani 2. he does look a little soft though… i wonder if the knicks fans know that they are more of a joke than the knicks themselves???

  • Holy Baller Posted: Jun.27 at 11:17 am
No one is more of a joke than the Knicks. Except Isiah…..

  • Jukai Posted: Jun.27 at 11:27 am
Why do they not have a right to be angry James? I wasn’t big on Bayless being the number three pick, but he woulda been a GREAT pick for New York. So would a big that could run with Lee. Why pick another 2-3 with an attitude problem who is too soft? The Knicks have dozens of them.

  • Jukai Posted: Jun.27 at 11:27 am
    USA! USA! USA! USA!

  • solito Posted: Jun.27 at 11:29 am
All you “basektball experts” with your back packs, swingman jerseys, and snott noses… Nobody cares what you think. I’ve seen this kid play. Great system player, high Bball IQ (unlike some of you US guys who can bareley read NYPOST Headlines). He will surprise a few folks.

  • James The Balla Posted: Jun.27 at 11:39 am
i think he will surprise … they should have picked lopez!

  • Jack Posted: Jun.27 at 11:40 am
If you go on Knicks forums you’ll see the pick is pretty well recieved now. We’re just annoyed that we didn’t do anything else. We could have at least tried to get another Lottery Pick. Lee and Malik for #5 and then shift Marbury with Love for Mayo? Or even just keeping Love and putting Lee on the block. Or anything. But who knows, something could be in the works.

  • p mo Posted: Jun.27 at 11:43 am
Gallinari is going to be a big time player in the nba..i understand the hate but when they have it come right back in their face when walsh looks like a genius cause lopez sure hell isnt going to be better than danilo.

  • Mendel Posted: Jun.27 at 11:57 am
I think it you package him with a venti iced green tea you can get the spurs 26th pick

  • riggs Posted: Jun.27 at 12:00 pm
lol @ whomever thinks danilo will get respect in the knicks locker room

  • blackjack Posted: Jun.27 at 12:27 pm
He can’t be any worse than the players the Knicks have now

  • FLUXLAND Posted: Jun.27 at 12:30 pm
Solito he will surprise no one. The Euro track record in the NBA.. well, speaks for itself. Also, this kid can’t play D and I have no idea how many times I have heard the phrase “this kid has high bball IQ” - that means kaka. You seen him play so now you are a freaking expert? Gettafouttahere!!! Come si dice…bustola?

  • albie1kenobi Posted: Jun.27 at 12:31 pm
d’antoni’s it@lian is getting rusty and he feels the need to practice it with someone daily.

  • Kevin Posted: Jun.27 at 12:36 pm
he better be f*ckin better than Bargniani.. who was a f*ckin FIRST overall pick. lol……….

  • Jukai Posted: Jun.27 at 12:49 pm
He’s a good player, Solito. NOT a better player than many of the players who were still in the draft. NOT the best position for the Knicks. If you’re such an ‘expert’ you should stop focusing on how he plays and realize other things, like the NEEDS of a team or other INCREDIBLY important issues.

  • Holy Baller Posted: Jun.27 at 12:52 pm
Totally agree with Flux. They said they saw Bargnani play too. What has he done? I will believe that this kid is good when I see it. Until then we all have the right to critisize the pick.

  • FLUXLAND Posted: Jun.27 at 1:20 pm
exactly Jukai and Baller. Gully is “a friend of ours”, so I’m sure he filled some need for D’Antoni. Then only people he will be surprising are his parents. Anyone think he looks like Darko? Did you see that ESPN picture? It was a mug shot.. dude looks a serial killer. B U S T
And Il Mago must be pulling the disappearing part of his act in the NBA. Or maybe he’s CarrotTop… no magic.. just props.

  • BxBaller Posted: Jun.27 at 2:01 pm
I’m still booing today. F*ck Gallinari, I wish they would stop forcing this kid on us. Everybody claims that we need a point guard, (especially if/when Steph leaves via free agency next summer) we passed on Augustin & Bayless. Not to mention, remember any of the last few international players that were drafted by NY? Frederick Weis anyone? This kid is gonna be like Bargnani pt.2. They were saying the same things about him that they are now saying about Gallinari.

  • Holy Baller Posted: Jun.27 at 2:13 pm
Hey now BxBaller, Weis is famous. Sure it’s for having Vince Carter sh!t on his head, but he’s still famous.

  • darrell Posted: Jun.27 at 3:21 pm
hey thanks for effing up the season b4 it begins…AGAIN

  • cyanide Posted: Jun.27 at 4:44 pm
im a huge knicks fan. and im not down with this gallinari pick! huge mistake! kinda remind me of a tsikitsvili or whatever he spelled his last name.. Eric Gordon, Joe Alexander, D.J. Augustin, Jerryd Bayless.. those are players you wont passed on in a desperate rebuilding franchise.. why not one of them? why donnie? WHY?????? isiah could have made a better choice.. and can someone PLEASE introduce eddy curry and zach randolph to the “Weight Watchers
” its just around madison ave. skip.. skip.. skip.. skip.. ski…..p!!!!!

  • B. Long Posted: Jun.27 at 4:53 pm
Somehow I can’t help but think that New York fans deserve everything that has happened to the Knicks.

  • d.Y. Posted: Jun.27 at 5:04 pm
Nobody deserves what has happened to the Knicks, save Dolan, who still has tons of money to console him.

  • cyanide Posted: Jun.27 at 5:05 pm
knicks organization has somewhat becomes a byzantine empires

  • The Promise Posted: Jun.27 at 5:11 pm
We will look back on this pick and wonder how you could ever get high enough to pick this stiff. Good job James Dolan, you never cease to amaze us, for how freakin stupid you and your entire front office really is. Keep up the good work so we can keep laugin at all the awesome offseason moves yall make. Peaceeee…

  • Black Posted: Jun.27 at 5:15 pm
I dont like Gillinari either, rhymes to close to giuliani and ya’ll know how we felt about him.

  • cyanide Posted: Jun.27 at 5:26 pm
james dolan is a piece of “rich guy” crap!

  • Russ Bengtson Posted: Jun.27 at 5:36 pm
I think Gallinari’s gonna be Kukoc II, which would be fantastic if they already had Pippen II and Jordan II. Which they decidedly don’t.

  • cyanide Posted: Jun.27 at 5:40 pm
more like a bargnani II i would say. lets see what happens..

  • Russ Bengtson Posted: Jun.27 at 10:30 pm
If they follow this up by trading David Lee, someone might burn down the Garden.

  • Holy Baller Posted: Jun.27 at 11:21 pm
Yes but they do have Spud Webb II and Kevin Duckworth II

  • Russ Bengtson Posted: Jun.28 at 5:35 am
    Disasterpiece Theater.

  • Hass777 Posted: Jun.28 at 1:07 pm
this guy is going to wear # 8??you better lead us to a chip in a lockout shortened season.please get raymond felton mr walsh!

  • KnickKnacks Posted: Jun.28 at 9:59 pm
apparently Isiah was behind the Gallinari trade - we can’t get rid of this chump. This site talks about the Isiah influence in scouting. Quite funny. thesportcount.wordpress.com/

  • TERENCE ANG Posted: Jun.29 at 2:28 am
bad pick. should have gotten brook lopez.

  • hoes Posted: Jun.29 at 8:13 am
are you guys for serious? all knicks wings are terrible, danilo will be good. he’s a three year pro already, euroball is a higher level than ncaa, and he was a go to guy.

  • Jeter Posted: Jun.30 at 2:45 am
Why would they trade David lee?

  • chintao Posted: Jun.30 at 6:02 am
Look, I’m willing to give thsi Gallinari kid a chance. The Knicks are at least three years away from respectability anyway. Also, to all of you who said that the Knicks should address their point guard needs, I say wait for Lance Stephenson.
