Stephon Marbury was an AMAZING high school player who played one very impressive season of college ball and had, statistically, a pretty amazing NBA career for eight or nine years. I and others on this site who had previously defended Steph have since acknowledged that, at this point, he is largely indefensible … none of which has ANYTHING to do with how and why he was chosen to do a Slam diary as a high school senior in 1994.
