I wonder how fast Kobe and LBJ’s jersey sales are skyrocketing in Europe? Everybody trying to get their hands on some future throwbacks in Europe right now.

just watched olympics opening ceremony, when kobe was shown on the big screen the crowd in the birds nest went nuts, was really cool, those chinese love their bball (they cheered loud for dirk too) seems to me like bball may be the most anticipated sport in china for the olympics, dirk carried the flag, sarunas too, yao too, was really great to watch from a basketball fan’s POV.

I singlehandedly got all of Sichuan province to vote for Gilbert Arenas. I just gotta change his catchphrase from Hibachi to HuoGuo and boom, he gets into the top three.

Well duhhh? Anyone who saw how the Chinese freaked out yesterday when Kobe was shown on the “bird’s nest” big screen would have noticed that. The NBA rules in china. Yao, T-Mac, Kobe, Bron, all those guys are worshiped in a society where the individual usually does not get that kind of adulation. GREAT job by Darth Stern and his disciples. Guys like Federer and Nadal received zero recognition yesterday, but with Kobe they roared. Same reaction was given to Nowitzki, a huge roar of approval. haha, suck on that Dirk-haters.
