Warriors Won’t Pay Evans, But Hawks Will
Word has it Mo Evans balked at the Warriors’ initial offer, so the Warriors figured they were better off keeping Kelenna Azubuike.
Good move for the Hawks?

Good move in the sense that it attempts to make up for the horrendous move of letting Childress walk for nothing

Great move for the Hawks. Mo Evans is a younger slightly poorer man’s version of James Posey. Glad to see the Hawks front office hasn’t completely given up yet.

the magic got Pietrus, that’s why they let Evans go, so its not much of a blow to them

Evans is somewhat erratic (especially his jumper), but I’ve always liked his game (seems to play hard) so this was a nice move. My wife was a Longhorn so this is a bonus, for her when I take her to Hawks games (she was sad after we let Royal Ivey go). The Atlanta Hawks: where the 2nd tier Texas players go (she’s not reading this, else she’d punch me in the arm).
