Plus he’s Amare. Regardless of where they end up, EB and Gil will get overpaid. Although, I think both will stay with their current teams. Brand’s LA connections will keep him there. Unless Brand and his agent are stupid, its a ‘no brainer’. If Davis gets injured, Brand will have thrown $15M up a wild hog’s arse, because the Clippers have no bench. Wouldn’t the Warriors have offered Davis a longer extension if they felt that he could hold up? Besides a lot more money, the Warriors offer a much stronger bench, a great coach and little risk. Moreover, Ellis will be a better at point guard this year than Davis.

Sorry I went to lunch. Ben Gordon got a 6th man award when he got into the league, I’ll give you that. But look at him now that teams know his game. He has a hard time getting off his shot because the point guards are quicker and D-ing him up good and he can’t dribble good enough to get his own shot. And he’s too short to get his shot off over taller players. Look at his stats go down as last year progressed. I’d trade Ben Gordon in a second. Leonardo Barbosa’s speed is on a different level than all these guys. That’s why he’s effective.

When your team scores 110+ a night, everyone has nice numbers. I don’t really like ben Gordon as a player but he’s definitely better than Barbosa, who can ONLY be effective in the open floor.
