nobody really thinks the acquisition of duhon is gonna get them to the Finals. He’s no derek fisher by a long shot. There best bet is to try to convince the Kings into taking Quentin Richardson for Ron Artest becaue Ron Ron will opt out next summer and they will lose alot of value from him. Then trading for somebody like al harrington or vince carter.

The Knicks don’t have any free agent money to spend this summer regardless, and they’ve already ruined their franchise 10 times over. Even if they clear cap room for ‘10 and don’t get ‘Bron, Wade, Anthony or Bosh, they’ll still have flexibility at least, which they haven’t had since like 1974.

Raymond Felton is terrible, the Knicks better not give up Lee for that POS.. Duhon isn’t that terrible, i think with a new attitude + a starting role he might find that consistency he’s lacked so far.. They definitely should’ve drafted Bayless, who i think will be one of the top 5-6 pros from this draft.. taking a stab at Telfair to be the backup might be a cheap gamble too.. (I’m expecting Marbury to be bought out)

I don’t think it would be that terrible a hire, provided they can sign him on the cheap for a year or two. Who they get really doesn’t matter all that much at this point as long as they don’t tie up too much salary in the contracts.
