Let’s get it on! Plus, Clipper Darrell…
Not much to say here, just wanted to remind everyone that the Game 5 liveblog will be happening here on SLAMonline.com tonight. We’ll get it going just before tipoff, for tonight’s eliminationatory contest. (That’s so not a word, is it?)
I’ve been bunkered down in the hotel room for the last 24 hours, getting my grind ground. Oh, and last night Khalid and I went out to dinner with a ground of NBA and media folk and found ourselves at a long table with none other than Clipper Darrell. I thought I was insane about the Hawks, but I’ve got nothing on Clipper Darrell. I mean, even his car was Clippered out. I love Clipper Darrell. Not the Clippers, though.
Alright, gotta get ready to head to the Stapler. No idea how this is going to play out tonight, but I’m just hoping for a great game. Let’s see what happens.

i’m sure reading the lakers blog would be as infuriating as reading a bill simmons’ blog. dude has no objectivity what so ever when celtics are involved. i guess i can’t blame him, he’s been tuned that way since he was 5 or something.

HA! good to have a fellow SLAMDUNK fan on board. unfortunately, Akagi’s only 6′6″ and 200 lbs. so yes, kobe would have been the best center in the SLAMDUNK world.

The problem with the Lakers is one thing: the inconsistency of foul-prone Lamar Odom. He disappeared (again) in the second half of last game.

its interesting, as a die hard kobe fan, sometimes i wished he would pass the ball a bit more before and now even some of the kobe haters I know cant understand why he’s passing up so many shots when he needs to bring out the mamba and take over…

DID ANYONE CATCH THE CONTRIVED, FORCED, AGONISING INTERVIEW/TRASHTALK BETWEEN THE WALTONS - FATHER TO SON STYLE - AND ALSO HOW EVERY BOY IN THE WALTON FAMILY LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE DADDY WALTON? …final note: Luke Walton has a deeper voice than Barry Manilow.
