Gordon Foresees Trades Should Bulls Draft Rose
For the time being, it remains to be seen who the Chicago Bulls will select with the first pick in this summer’s NBA Draft, but should they go with stud point guard Derrick Rose, Ben Gordon sees ch-ch-changes coming in the Windy City.
Particularly, at the guard spot.
“It’s a tough one,” Gordon said, “If we get Rose, we’ll have to [trade] one of the guards on our team. Rose is going to be really good. He can really get to the basket.”
“If you ask me or anybody else, that’s too many guards,” Gordon said, “because players need room to get into a rhythm and need to develop.”
Smart (clear-thinking) guy, that Ben Gordon, despite the fact that he goes on to say that he wouldn’t mind playing for his hometown Knicks should the Bulls shop him.
It is going to be one busy summer for John Paxson and his staff.

Given the implosion from last year… they need a overhaul regardless of who they draft. Chicago has a LOT of good movable pieces. It should be interesting to see what they do.

Dorsey, noah, Thomas, they’re like triplets who grew up a bit differently…they need more variety than that. It would be like the rockets adding another 6′7 power forward already having Landry and Hayes.

The Bulls should ship Gordon/Heinrich and Tyrus/Noah for a legit post presence. Brand would be the best option, but that’d be too ironic… Gordon is overrated, he shoulda taken the $ last year. I guess the Bulls could get Randoplph/Curry from NYK, but that would be retarded.

John Paxson is the next (joe dumars/danny ainge). With his basketball backround and UNDERSTANDING of players(the real key here) we will see a bright future. If the owners just trust his decisions and leave him alone John will build a dynasty!

you all dont know what your thinking trade kirk hinrich he sucks what does he do for the bulls? all he does is screw up the team your point guard is supposed to be the leader of the team not the worst player. for example deron williams look at him he led his team through the playoffs i respect him and you should too so i think tey should trade hinrich and get derrick rose or even michael beasley go deron williams

No doubt about the past 3 years. But look at the front office mess(esp ownership decisions) he inherited. Also take a look at Ainge and Dumars…it took them time and mistakes before they started to get it right. The track record shows the best front office player personal men were quality ballplayers, yet they knew and accepted their limitations. Pax fits the bill. And I agree it is now time to see some results.

Notice how Chandler, Brand and Curry flourished as soon as they left the Chi?? Think its a coincidence ‘cos I don’t. Plus anybody who is half sane has to have serious doubts about Vinny Del Negro….The Bulls will do something but if we do I would be suprised if it brings us past the 2nd round in the playoffs….Paxson is just that retarded, simple as.
