TA never recovered his confidence after his injury. Worse than losing his hops on offense, was losing his confidence on defense. He logged cheap fouls faster than anyone I’ve ever seen. The Pistons upfaked him constantly. I liked him as a player, but this could be the end of his run in Green…

C’s will be fine. I love how everyone’s starting to compare Kobe to Mike again because Kobe’s “about” to get his first Finals MVP. I think it will belong to Pierce or KG. Defense wins. Why hasn’t Phil started talking any of his garbage yet? I give it another day.

oh, and anyone who thinks that Phil hasn’t been one of the luckier coach in NBA history can stop it. please, MJ, Shaq and Kobe. really, how can you NOT win. all he had to do was sit back and get out of MJ’s way like everybody else. i don’t want to hear, but how come MJ and Shaq and Kobe didn’t win until Phil got involved? because they were still developing as players and/or a team. You don’t think that MJ would have won titles 4, 5, and 6 if Phil had left after the 3rd one? Coaching is important but it’s way more overrated than Lebron. The Celts will show how a team with a “bad” coach can win it all. I do like how Phil once said that psychedelics improved his game. You don’t hear that everyday. I’m sure Sternbot wouldn’t be happy if you did. Someone should one up JHoward , during these Finals, and say they like to drop a lot during the summer.

You could say the same thing about Red’s run with the Celtics too. Bill Russell, Bob Cousy, and company where way superior to most teams in the NBA in there time too. No coach does it without a talented team. But I forgot, Phil coaches the Lakers so everybody has to hate on him. It just goes with the territory I guess.

Anyone who wants to doubt ‘THE ZEN MASTER’ (or any decent coach in any team sport) and his ability by writing trash has just ousted themselves for all the public to see that they are merely a narrow-minded, ignorant fool with NO UNDERSTANDING WHATSOEVER about team sportsmanship, emotional-psychological chemistry and leadership. Why do coaches get fired EVERY season?? Because they do not lead a team to achieve their best. Phil Jackson lead the Bulls to achieve the ‘ultimate’ trifecta TWICE. He MUST be glorified as much as any player on those rosters.

hey, i’m really not hating that much. i wouldn’t mind seeing mamba win a 4th ring, i’d just much rather see the “big three” each win a first. i was also completely kidding about Bron since there’s been all that deshawn related press about whether he’s overrated. i think most sane people realize that bron is one of the best to ever play the game and ain’t “overrated.” yeah, red had the benefit of great players too. i’m just saying that coaches get both too much credit for winning and too much blame for losing. obviously the latter is because you can’t fire a players as easily as you can fire a coach. a great coach should only account for about 20% of a team’s success. A GREAT coach can’t do ANYTHING with a team that isn’t talented and/or doesn’t want to play together (Larry’s Knicks). However, a great team can do so much more with a mediocre coach. I think most people feel it’s always the most fun to see an up and coming coach get the most he can out of an up and coming team (Blazers). Sorry for the novel of a post. P.S. I don’t have any “hate” for any players or posters on this site. it’s a game people. it’s fun to watch and follow. some people we root for some people we root against. peace.

T. Allen is terrible. I am from Boston and he has done jack for us. We need to get rid of him as soon as possible. He might be athletic but he can not finish, shoot, or play D. All he is good for is a bunch of fouls and wide open missed dunks and layups.
