Worthy of Your Attention
Detroit vs Boston. It’s the series everyone has been waiting for since the start of the season. I can’t recall the last time something similar has been said about an Eastern Conference matchup.
Game 1 of this series goes tonight Boston, and the weight of the world will be on Ray Allen’s shoulders. Quite simply, he must break out of his shooting slump if the C’s plan on advancing to the NBA Finals. And I think he will; Hall of Fame shooters don’t just lose “it” overnight. As Allen says, Doc has to find a way to get him more touches.
The Pistons are rested and healthy. It’s likely that they will be a tad rusty in the early going, but that’s never been a huge concern for these guys. At least we can rest assured in the knowledge that they won’t be taking any games off in this round.
The series is chock-full of great matchups, but none better than Rasheed vs. KG. The fact that these two will go toe-to-toe for the next 6 or 7 games is a treat for any fan of the game.

Amen. It’s on now. Probably gotta watch it live again even if the game is at 3.30am where I live. Jeez, didn’t think I cared this much when the playoffs started. Real nice if the Pistons got one out of two to start the series.

In a previous post I stated that Jesus should be in Phoenix with the Shaq Hybrid and STAT, and i say it again make this happen! i’m almost banking on Boston losing so Boston can do something crazy like move him. Oh man i’m all for this! MAKE IT HAPPEN!!

Is Ray really a “Hall Of fame” Shooter. He’s shooter but there’s no way in hell he should be in the hall. He’ll end up with the most three pointers ever but he doesn’t have anywhere near the post season resume that Reggie has. Truth be told Paul pierce isn’t a hall of famer either.

its the supporting cast I’m worried about. We can match the big three production with our four but we have a tendency to let no name benchers to produce more than they ever could have dreamed.

this series is gonna be interesting, but moot… whoever comes out of here is going to lose to the lake show anyway. still rather see the celtics make it though. and ray doesn’t need to win championships to be considered a hall of fame shooter

I’m glad they didn’t get the first pick, they didn’t deserve it after tanking the season, but then again this was the best for them because now they won’t have to decide who to pick and if they get the 2nd best the city won’t complain

This horrible season not withstanding, why would the Bull picks Rose when they have an ABOVE AVERAGE (as long as he doesn’t repeat last season) point guard when they really need a dude who can fill in the two/three/four spot when one of the Chicago “stars” isn’t shooting well that night (Ben Gorden and Luol Deng pretty much alternate like that). Beasley is a MUCH smarter option for the Bulls.

Unless they want to trade Kirk and some filler for an established wing and bet on Rose… They are both still a huge possibility for da Bulls.
