BETCATS says:
I blame the refs for all the no-calls and phantom Utah fouls, but Kobe’s gunnin makes him a good millatary scape goat.

May.12 at 10:05 am

Myles Brown says:
I’m going to point my bloody finger at Kobe (6-10FT) and Lamar (5-10FT) for the damn game going to overtime in the first place.

May.12 at 10:06 am

Eboy says:
Sweep.

May.12 at 10:08 am

Eboy says:
Oh….I thought this series was over already. Damn Derek Fisher and his stocky frame.

May.12 at 10:12 am

Myles Brown says:
I would compile a list of all the times you were wrong about something but the internet isn’t big enough.

May.12 at 10:12 am

Sesa says:
I’m a big Kobe fan, I blame both Kobe and his teammates. Both of them had given their chance.

May.12 at 10:14 am

Sesa says:
And it seems no one in the press have ever really felt playing through back spasm.
And By the way, it’s not T-Mac’s fault this time

May.12 at 10:16 am

Eboy says:
Poor Myles. Can’t ever get a series prediction correct. I still have the Lakers in 6, just so you know. The tremendous amount of bulls*it freethrows will turn back in their favor the next two games, no worries.

May.12 at 10:17 am

Sesa says:
Eboy, are you having Heat’s Finals Deja Vu?

May.12 at 10:19 am

Eboy says:
Not quite Sesa. It was just Wade getting phantom calls in that series. The entire Lakers team is full of floppers that get calls regardless of the amount of contact so……

May.12 at 10:21 am

Ken says:
Can we still blame Chris Webber for everything? Or do we have to start blaming T-Mac, now that CWebb is retired?

May.12 at 10:21 am

Eboy says:
And the flop fest should be incredible in the next round with Lakers/Spurs on the table. Maybe Kobe will just run over them for 4 games quick so we don’t have to suffer through a long series.

May.12 at 10:24 am

Sesa says:
Team full of floppers? The only flopper in Laker uniform is Vujacic.
Anyway, I’d still pick Kobe to win this series because the Utah Jazz have a very bad floor spacing even though they have a low post threat and a bunch of 3pt shooters.

May.12 at 10:29 am

Eboy says:
Gasol? Fisher? Look closer, Sesa. You’ll see more than the Machine laying on the floor or crashing into the backboard stansion.

May.12 at 10:33 am

Sesa says:
I’m a big Kobe fan, maybe I missed them. I’ll find those floppers not just for Lakers but also for the Jazz.

May.12 at 10:39 am

Eboy says:
Jazz have a few too. I guess every team does, but a team as talented as the Lakers don’t need an obvious byass in the free throw category to be successful. They should win by 15+ in game 5. And Game 6 will be anoher last minute affair. If the Mamba’s back and his shot choice allow it, they should pull out a close game there to wrap it up. Happy, Myles?

May.12 at 10:43 am

Logan Light says:
I have to blame Jordan Farmar. WAY before the overtime slinging of Kobe, Jordan was getting TORCHED by Williams. It was a no contest. As soon as he subbed in the game you could see Deron smile and then take him to the hoop…

May.12 at 10:48 am

Chukaz says:
I’ll blame Luke Walton for the loss. If he would’ve been man enough to dunk the ball that one time he was swatted by the 5′4 dude, they wouldn’t have gone to overtime. Damn you Luke, and your father.

May.12 at 10:50 am

Flip Jaxson says:
Yep. Farmar playin scared right now. Lamar and Fish killed in the 4th, bringin LA back hard. Kobe needed to give up the rock. Dime, what’s the name of the dude from Chicago that torched R. Kelly back in the day and started singin “I believe I can fly?”

May.12 at 10:54 am

Eboy says:
Chukaz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May.12 at 10:54 am

Chukaz says:
what it do, foo!

May.12 at 10:56 am

Sesa says:
wow, Chukaz!

May.12 at 10:58 am

Eboy says:
Damn, Chukaz, it’s been a long-ass time since you’ve been around.

May.12 at 10:58 am

Chukaz says:
Yo, I’m supposed to be writing a research paper on Malcolm X, but I figured that that wasn’t important enough. Besides, it ain’t due ’til Wednesday, so I still have tomorrow and Wednesday morning to write a sh*tty research paper.

May.12 at 11:01 am

Chukaz says:
I would say that I’m back, but I would be lying. The 21st or 22nd of this month is my last day of school, os I’ll probably be here more often, or not. Who cares?

May.12 at 11:03 am

Sesa says:
Ryan Jones cared about you

May.12 at 11:04 am

Eboy says:
Chukaz is legendary.

May.12 at 11:05 am

Spaceship Jay says:
I second the Walton fiasco, your 6-foot-whatever, your in the playoffs. Are you serious? I also blame the soft europeans of the Lakers roster.

May.12 at 11:06 am

Bryan says:
I don’t know who is to blame , but the fact that they missed so many free throws and Kobe was hurt and they still almost pulled it out in Utah gives me confidence in them.

May.12 at 11:08 am

Chukaz says:
I had never recieved that much love on this site, man. Fo’ real. Are ya’ll smokin’ somethin’? Anyways, Eboy, what’s up with the change of name?

May.12 at 11:13 am

Eboy says:
Absence makes the heart grow fonder, Chukaz. And the name change is just cosmetic, people (ex: Brown, Myles) still despise me, so nothings changed. If you are back in the summer that would be a good change around here.

May.12 at 11:14 am

Eboy says:
And since I never played the blame game today, I blame the Jazz for not wilting under the Fisher onslaught and holding on in overtime.

May.12 at 11:16 am

Chukaz says:
So, are ya’ll smokin’ somethin’? Eboy, why’d you chang yo name? I don’t care if it is cosmetic, or spiritual, or crazy. Are you agains the Heat now?

May.12 at 11:20 am

Chukaz says:
Yo, Isiah Thomas deserves some blame just for being Isaih Thomas. Note: I’m not sure if I’m spelling his name correctly, but I apologize if I am ’cause that motherf*cker don’t deserve to have his name spelled correctly.

May.12 at 11:21 am

Bo Diddly says:
Ronny Price flopped…look how quickly he got up off the floor!! ;)

May.12 at 11:21 am

Chukaz says:
Dude, I spelled it 2 different ways and I’m totally hoping that that I’m wrong on both.

May.12 at 11:22 am

Eboy says:
Naw man, I’m still with them. I’m one of the only ones left. Ride or die never applied before, but they died bad this year.

May.12 at 11:25 am

Chukaz says:
Diddly, I agree with you, dude. If he ain’t strong enough to take the punishment, he should stop attacking the basket. The block he had on Luke Walton was sick, though. I had never seen a play as unathletic as Luke’s last night. That was so slow, I’m not sure if he wanted to run the clock down to the last second of the game, during the 3rd quarter.

May.12 at 11:27 am

Chukaz says:
Yo, Eboy, ya’ll gon get Mike Beasley, so ya’ll gon be in good position for the next 10 years. I wonder if DWade will stick around after his contract expires given the fact that Mike Beasly is gonna be the first option fo’ sho’ by the time DWade opts out.

May.12 at 11:27 am

Bryan says:
I’m moving again , and this time I’ll have cable so I can watch some games.

May.12 at 11:29 am

Chukaz says:
Dude, I keep spellin’ names two different ways. I’m I smokin’ somethin’?

May.12 at 11:29 am

Eboy says:
Finally, Shia. And Chukaz, I think if they can, they’re going to take Rose, so Beasley may be beasting in some other location at my disgust.

May.12 at 11:31 am

Kevin Wilson says:
I’m going to go ahead and blame Williams. How dare he outplay the Laker PGs and not lay down for the MVP.

May.12 at 11:32 am

Zee! says:
Glasshouse…

May.12 at 11:32 am

Captain America says:
I blame the score and the clock.

May.12 at 11:39 am

Chukaz says:
Eboy, if the Heat take Rose someone will have to perform a drug test on Riles and check what he’s smokin’ ’cause ain’t no way someone whould use the first pick on D. Rose. Besides, he and DWade are practically the same dude, but Dwade(when healthy) is far more athletic and just better from a physical stand point.

May.12 at 11:41 am

Chukaz says:
Yo, Captain, you are right. If only we had the dudes that was runnin’ the clock for the pistons that one time they took like 10 seconds to score at the one of the 3rd and the clock momed like .3 secs.

May.12 at 11:42 am

Chukaz says:
I meant moved like .3 secs.

May.12 at 11:47 am

Kadavour says:
how did this turn into an Eboy-Chukaz suck fest?

May.12 at 11:51 am

Jolst says:
It all started with Luke Walton… that’s ironic.

May.12 at 11:58 am

Eboy says:
Die again, dead man! :)

May.12 at 12:04 pm

RV says:
it was Deron’s fault for being damn good, its not farmar’s fault he couldn’t hang with Dwill and deron made things happen in the end by forcing things, it was also the lakers fault for waiting until D drove the ball for them to collapse on him, by then the D was scrambling and it was just a matter of time before a Jazz player had a good look

May.12 at 12:05 pm

Lz - Cphfinest3 says:
YES!! Finally a valid reason to blame Kobe! Kobe lost them the game! Kirilenko for defense secretary!

May.12 at 12:31 pm

JWade says:
Yo, You just can’t blame kobe
Its the whole team
They wasn’t play good

May.12 at 12:34 pm

Jake says:
It’s kind of funny that everyone still hates Kobe even though he’s a team player this year.Last night,Michael Jordan would have done the same thing. He’s the most experienced person they have in the playoffs,so I would hope that even injured he would be trying to make his team win by scoring in overtime. It’s not a big deal anyways, everyone knows utah is soft like bananas on the road

May.12 at 12:38 pm

DP says:
I am very upset…………………….I think i’m sick.

May.12 at 1:20 pm

Stewie Griffin says:
At least nobody can blame Odom, he had an amazing game yesterday. I can’t say the same about the other PF. Pau is a good player, but other than making dunks or easy lay-ups with nobody to contest them, can he hit a shot?

May.12 at 1:24 pm

Z says:
Eboy : I’m really puzzled by Miami’s mancrush on Rose. I mean that’s an all-star in the making, but Beastey is a BEAST. Questionable attitude, maybe?

May.12 at 1:25 pm

Bigi says:
It’s 2-2 people.Get over it.And if Kob’s back is back he will get them back…

May.12 at 1:29 pm

Eboy says:
Z, not to bore everyone, but I think the opportunity to cut back on Wade’s 11.9 turnovers per game average, anyone that can cut back on his ball handling is prime right now. I want Beasley for them too, but I’m resigned to the fact they won’t unless they miss out on the #1 pick.

May.12 at 1:31 pm

lane says:
Laker fan whining about the refs? Really ? Really ? did you see the first two games in LA ? the Refs — really ?? Amazing. Hopefully Kobe’s back ins’t hurt because if it is — the Lakers are through. If it isn’t hurt - I feel sorry for irilenko who had like 20 blocks on KObe and celebrated a few of them a little too much — and if Kobe is okay he is likely to torch the Russian

May.12 at 1:54 pm

iLL wiLL says:
Jack.

May.12 at 1:58 pm

B. Long says:
Does anybody remember when Kobe had that injury in the regular season, rehabbed the entire night without sleep, then went on to torch the opposition the following night? Well this is 3 days rest and its the PLAYOFFS! Don’t worry bout the Lakeshow and Kobe. They’ll be straight.

May.12 at 3:35 pm

Nique says:
GASOl, GASOL, GASOL! That dude looks weak lately. Everytime he gets it in the post he turns it over…at least in this series. They need to let Deron do his thing, and worry about stopping the other key players. Don’t matter if Deron gets 50, they need to play better D on the other players. Especially Okur. That dude one thing and the Lakers are making him look like an All-Star. Of course if Kobe were 100% it would of been a different story but he still needed to get to the hole. I thought they would get at least one on the road..guess not.

May.12 at 3:58 pm

tealish says:
How come Derek Fisher wasn’t allowed to shoot in OT? Are the extra sessions reserved for Mamba and Mamba alone?

May.12 at 4:14 pm

Nathalie says:
he was sitting most of overtime to be exact…i was wondering the whole time why the hell he wasn’t in the game…

May.12 at 4:18 pm

l. yeung says:
in response to myles brown this game wouldnt even have been in overtime if not for odom hitting that three and fisher gettin 10 so before you blame anyone realize that gettin to overtime was a team effort

May.12 at 5:08 pm

Hursty says:
I blame Pau Gasol for playing sh!t this whole series except game one.

May.12 at 5:24 pm

B MuNz says:
I am not a guy that loses faith but do you think the Lakers are going to be able to pull it off. I am a huge Kobe Fan and a HUGE Andrew Bynum fan… But need a little reassurance

May.12 at 5:57 pm

Genenene says:
I second Chukaz comment on Luke Walton. If you’re a forward in the NBA and can’t dunk on a wide open fast break, you’ve got serious problems…

May.12 at 7:15 pm

Bigi says:
Utah,be ready for Mr.Bryant in Game 5…I mean it!

May.12 at 7:20 pm

Double R says:
Funny thing is that if Kobe became more of a facilitator and his teammates didn’t hit shots and they lost, they he would be critized Kobe for not taking over the game.

May.12 at 7:30 pm

Hursty says:
dave thats what happened in game 7 in the suns series in 06′ playoffs. Didnt take over the game-out nashing steve.

May.12 at 7:37 pm

Jackie Moon says:
I blame Ryan Jones. When Bryant was asked if he should have shot so much after injuring his back he said, “I got some pretty good looks. They didn’t fall down for me. Some nights they do, some nights they don’t.”

May.12 at 11:27 pm

Dacre says:
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^I’m just going to say what no one is saying….you jump moving cars your sure going to hurt your back some point down the road.

May.13 at 1:20 am

Harlem_World says:
Outside of Kobe and Fish, these Lakers have not been put under any adversity. Gasol? Farmar? Gay Walton? Quite simply, this team goes only as far as Kobe takes them - and as the one and only lead banana, don’t think Kobe won’t/can’t go missing too (anyone remember when they got bounced by the Suns a couple seasons back?). This isn’t mike we’re talking about, it’s that other dude.

May.13 at 4:16 am

LAN says:
… sometimes shots dont drop give kobe a brake hes earnt his respect

May.14 at 9:45 pm

chico says:
there aint no floppin’, its smarts. lakers loss as a team, but when winning, its only kobe. damn. team. maybe detroit can show them the definition of team.
