LaMarcus Aldridge needs one
Too many of today’s NBA ballers lack a memorable tag. We at SLAM find this unacceptable; now we’re doing something about it. Each month, we’ll bring you a player whose skills demand something more memorable and descriptive than their initials or a shortened version of their name—and that’s where you come in.
This month, your target is LaMarcus Aldridge. Overlooked, even as a recent No. 2 pick, LaMarcus averaged close to 18 and 8 this season and will be on a top front line for years. Give us your suggestions for a worthy nickname for one of the Blazers’ stars of the future.
