Were the Hawks too Drunk to Compete in Game 7?
Rumor has it that a famous Boston bar owner made sure anyone associated with the Hawks was nice and liquored up prior to the decisive game in the first round.
(It appears as though it’s the C’s who are the ones boozing it up when they play on the road in these Playoffs.)

A Boston bar full of drunks? “Cheers” is back, where everybody knows your name, and your game. I doubt that this is true though. I don’t believe that the Hawks were dumb enough to get drunk before their most important game of their careers so far.

if the celts are going for the stats, i suggest they start hitting shots to at least get their point total a little higher. what ever happen to sweet stroke ray ray? dude does nothing but come off screens for 3 now. couldn’t the celts get him a few easy buckets to get him going first? doc needs to get fired. they have THREE offensive superstars and they can’t score? how does that even make sense?

Lets assume for a sec that 1 or 2 Hawks players the night before game 7 were having a couple of drinks at the Liberty Hotel and the bar staff were giving the Hawks double shots without the them knowing. And say instead of 3 Vodkas, they consume 6 and it (even in the slightest way) affected the performance of those players. If I were Hawks, i’d be asking some pretty serious legal questions to the Liberty Hotel…..

Well if they had some drinks before a playoff game I wouldnt blame boston - thats just stupid…
