Unless Carlisle can convince Dampier to play hard defense this won’t change anything in Dallas. Jason Kidd needs to visit the fountain of youth if Dallas is going to be relevant in the west.

The problem with Dallas isn’t the coach, it’s the players. It doesn’t matter who’s coaching Dallas. “Dallas are who we thought they are!” We will be having this same discussing about Dallas two, three, four years from now.

An official move into mediocrity. Rick Carlisle isn’t leading any team to anything more that respectability at best. This move will basically retire JKidd and then Stack while wasting a couple of ‘rebuilding/re-developing’ years off of Dirk, Howard and Terry. Absolutely HORRIBLE move. Mark it down, this may end up being the kind of deflating move that gets Cuban to sell up and move on.
