T-Mac Went Under the Knife

The Rockets’ swingman had knee and shoulder surgeries yesterday, which of course, was all of his fault.

For all the hate he gets, the fact that T-mac played through multiple injuries requiring surgery and pushed the jazz to six is pretty nuts. Oh, also, rafer alston and shane battier are apparently scheduled for surgery on friday. For those playing the home game, that’s 80% of the rockets regular starters who have gone/are going under the knife.

Nick says:
The exception, of course, is Luis Scola, who avoids surgery by using his face to scare various parts of his body into better health.

Nick says:
Luther Head also underwent an exploratory surgery. Doctors were relieved as the procedure revealed no evidence of stones, huevos, or casells. A strange scar reading “property of Kyle Korver” was found on his left gludial muscle. Doctors could not remove it, and advised rest and prudent investment of whatever money he has made. Rockets officials wished Luther a speedy recovery, in hopes of increasing his trade value from “Drew gooden’s rat tail” to “a can of baked beans.”

Does anyone else ever wonder if stars tell the public they have surgery but really they don’t?

The Chinese made Mac have surgery earlier than he wanted.

RV says:
tealish, i’m sure that would be pretty difficult to do, nowadays the public has all the latest info, they know when and where the surgery will be done, the doctor is sometimes interviewed as well, there’s wayy too many people involved to lie about it, unless the team was in on it too, but that would be a stupid business decision for a team owner.

Tracy did his thing tho. It seem like he can never go the entire year without getting hurt. Neither can Yao at that. Has he even played in a playoff game?

Nique, TMAC gonna be alright. Same can be said for Yao. Next year they’re going to be killing, along with a couple other teams like Portland. Although nobody will have an answer for the Lakers w/ a healthy Bynum.

tealish says:
As improved as Bynum is and the idea of a frontline like Pau-Andrew-Lamar is salivating, I don’t necessarily think the Lakers will be better with him.
It just seems too much inside. Maybe I’m wrong, and the comparison is nothing more than based upon a ‘feeling’, but it reminds me of the time they had 4 future HOFers together for that ring chase. It was just too much.

easy thoughts tealish, tmac needed surgery during the streak same as Kobe. Yao and scola will be a good combo at center if Deke retires (again) :)
