Robert Horry Has Played in a Lot of Playoff Games

If he sees the floor tonight in New Orleans, he’ll have played in more postseason games than anyone in the history of the game. That’s pretty amazing.

I live in Houston & remember the day he was drafted. The crowd at the Summit booed b/c they wanted Harold ‘Baby Jordan’ Miner… That was the Shaq/Zo/Jim Jackson/Sprewell draft

Big Shot Bob has devolved into the Hack-a-Chandler guy this series. Depressing.

Stern-bot’s gotta do something about the Hack-a-player crap. It’s way out of hand now.

Not to take anything away from Brob’s accomplishment, but when Cap won his first title, there were only two rounds before the Finals. That said, can’t say anyone expected this when he came out of ‘Bama. (The six picks immediately preceding him: LaPhonso Ellis, Tom Gugliotta, Walt Williams, Todd Day, Clarence Weatherspoon and Adam Keefe.)

Gugliotta’s a pretty good one too. Horry is also a funny guy. It’d nice if he could contribute a late 3 or something tonight. If the Spurs win in NO tonight, its over for the Bugs.

I will never forget an interview Reggie Miller did with Robert Horry where Reggie mentioned Horry’s many rings and Horry said, but I’ll never be the man like you were with Indiana. When I retire, everyone will forget about me because of that. I would trade all the rings to be the man. For some reason that has always stuck with me.

How long until he breaks Kareem’s scoring record?

I know a lot of NBA players claim that they’d trade in all their individual glory for a ring, but what percentile of such players aren’t talking out of their a*s?
Personally, I’d rather be selected to 7 All-Star games finishing ringless with a career average of 20ppg, then have 8 rings averaging 3min a game. It’s blasphemous, I know, to put individual glory over winning but I’m being honest here.

He’ll celebrate by hip-checking Chris Paul into the scorer’s table… then having that hip replaced.

@tealish: Your forgeting that Big Shot Bob didn’t get his name for coatriding to the finals. He may not have put up crazy numbers but tell me you would’t sh!t yourself if he had the ball with 2 sec. left down by 3 against your team. COLDBLOODED!

The career 3min avg dude wasn’t in reference to Horry; I’m aware of how he earned his moniker. Just a hypothetical.

…and Shawn Bradley won more play-off series than Grant Hill or T-Mac.
