Phoenix Will Take Their Time in Replacing D’Antoni
GM Steve Kerr says his ballclub is in no rush to find a new head coach.
(Chicago, meanwhile, continues to bellyache over D’Antoni’s decision to take New York’s money. Bulls chairman Jerry Reinsdorf says Mike was “rude”.)

Nash’ll end up in NYC all right–pretty sure he already has an apartment here and I can totally see him retiring to New York to work for the UN or something. That said, would the Knicks really want a guy who already can’t even sit on the bench when he’s taken out of games? Would he get a group rate at the chiropractor with Quentin Richardson? He’d have to take a serious pay cut, I think.

so what’s the mood in phoenix right now? everyone celebrating the fact that they will play defense or mopping that they will not be fast breaking anymore?

I’d love to see Avery Johnson screaming at The Big Disappointment. Not that he would be the best fit but it would be worth it.

They should sign Shawn Marion back as a player/coach. I can just see the Matrix drawing up plays for himself while talking in third person in the huddle.
