Noah can’t catch a break. I thought the “walking down the street” thing was overblown snd these two charges are even dumber. He must’ve pissed somebody off back home.

i told ya the first incident was stupid and so is this. This is the big picture i was talking about, the kid can’t make rational decisions, he’s either going to keep getting in trouble with small incidents like this or one day he’s going to do something stupidly huge. I could easily see him keeping large sums of pot in his house or moving it for someone else, something like that. I wouldn’t be surprised if he did it in a stolen vehicle.

Hopefully his parents don’t continue to take this as “no big deal”, although these aren’t exactly felonies they both could have led to big trouble. 32 in a 20 aint no joke, had to be a residential area more than likely, all it takes is one kid jumping into the street for these comments to go from “he cant catch a break” to “he shouldn’t be in the league”.

RV…you wouldnt be surprised if Joakim Noah, NBA basketball player, millionaire, and public figure, was moving large quantities of marijuana in a stolen car? Thats maybe the stupidest thing Ive ever heard. One minute youre drinking in public, the next youre speeding with a suspended license, and the next youre…stealing cars and trafficing drugs? Yeah, thats a natural progression all right.

Also, I suppose youve never gone 10 mph over the limit? Please…

Although his fathers advice of “do what you want just dont get caught” is obviously just terrible.

Joakim realizes he made a few mistakes…dont everyone at some point,he feels terrible. he will learn from these mistakes,i’m sure he’s very sorry for all of it. no matter what,I will suport him 100%! i’ve met him,he’s a really nice guy.

Joakim has only 6 months probation, and has to pay some fines, charges could be dropped in 6 months if he has everything paid and does his probation. since he’s a 1st time offender not done this sort of thing before this is his only punishment so,im happy he’s got off quite easy i’d say.

Mark, a better question to ask me is, have i ever gone 10mph over the speed limit after just being pulled over THAT SAME MORNING. The answer to that is NO. That’s like cheating on an exam, getting caught, then going to your next class and cheating again. Someone with common sense would try to stay on the safe side for while, Noah couldn’ do it for one day.

RV says:
And i also never said the next thing he would do right after this is traffic drugs and steal cars, I never said he’d steal the car himself either. I guess i’ll explain itas best as possible. Noah has a “i wont get caught attitude”, he does things on impulse, speaks before thinking. He’s not able to line up different actions and predict the consequences of them. That being said, since he smokes pot it’s safe to say he knows a dealer, possibly a friend, If this friend asked him to deliver some stuff somewhere in a car the friend provides, as a favor, don’t you think he’d do it? Think about it. If it isn’t planned, if he’s buying some himself and the friend says “hey, by the way can you do this for me i’m kinda busy right now, and i’ll give you some no charge”, without him having time to think it over i think he’d say what the hell no big deal just a quick trip. I’m not talking truckloads here, maybe a suitcase or something. I could see him doing it and he probably wouldn’t ask who’s car it is even if he thought it was stolen. The reason i used that example because its a serious crime, but the chance of him being caught is the same as a cop catching him speeding or drinking in public. He’d only get caught if it was wrong place/wrong time and he seems to like taking those chances.
