Spaceship Jay says:
We got Baron Davis ya’ll!! wait, he plays my position…

May.23 at 2:36 pm

the birdman says:
Your position? BFD - so do about a billion other people.

May.23 at 2:38 pm

Chukaz says:
Baron is just what they need. A dude that is not a ball hog, doesn’t want big bucks, is okay with not getting many looks, never forces a shot, and has a team first mentality. Oh wait…

May.23 at 2:41 pm

Chukaz says:
They also need people at point guard. It’s not like they have any point guards under contract…

May.23 at 2:48 pm

Chukaz says:
I Isiah Thomas still secretly runnin’ the Knicks?

May.23 at 2:50 pm

Chukaz says:
What happened to all the cr@p about Baron wanting to stay in the Bay Area ’til he retired?

May.23 at 2:58 pm

Spaceship Jay says:
Oh I’m sorry birdman! When I said he plays my position, I was reffering to Stephon Marbury. Remember when he yelled that about Zack Randolph in a crowded street? Does anybody remember that? Birdman doesn’t.

May.23 at 3:11 pm

the birdman says:
wow - relax buddy.

May.23 at 3:13 pm

Spaceship Jay says:
Lol, I’m cool. I’m cool.

May.23 at 4:17 pm

tenorca says:
Spaceship Jay: Oh, I remember it fondly. I especially enjoyed Starbury’s use of the word “youthier,” which I bandy about with reckless abandon. Anyway: Baron isn’t going anywhere, especially not to NYC. I note that article makes no mention of who the sign-and-trade would be for, which makes it even more ridiculous. The Knicks have one asset: David Lee. And they’d better keep him.

May.23 at 4:20 pm

Spaceship Jay says:
See? tenorca remembers.

celtics=champs says:
Baron is descent point guard and a descent point guard is one of the many things New York lacks.

J-rocc says:

May.23 at 6:24 pm

B. Long says:

May.23 at 6:37 pm

Captain America says:
Baron said he wanted to stay in the Bay area, was that Hudson Bay?

May.23 at 8:17 pm

Eazy-Yi says:
How could he leave the West Coast and all the laaaadies

May.23 at 8:47 pm

albie1kenobi says:
marbury needs to break out his “closer to god” dance

May.23 at 9:06 pm

Gerard Himself says:
Baron Davis…. the coolest cat to run the point in NYC since Walt Frazier.
But I hope he’ll stay in Oakland.

May.23 at 11:39 pm

Russ Bengtson says:
Chances of any of the stuff in that story coming true: 14 percent.

May.24 at 1:24 am

P.Slight says:
We need more than Baron though, but Russ im going to sleep tonight holding on to that 14 percent

May.24 at 4:54 am

Slobodan Chutzpah says:
Just say no.

May.24 at 4:56 am

starbury&stevey says:
Nate, starbury, crawford are the guards.why do they need another top-guard.they just need a fit, quick C or a SF cauze Richardson and Balkman are to bad for starting five..

May.25 at 6:19 am

Ohpityme says:
Knicks really dont need Baron!
They need to dump:Richardson,Randolph OR Curry and keep Marbury because his 20 mil is off the books next year.
Then start
PG-Nate
SG-Crawford
SF-Chandler
PF-Lee
C-Whoever wins out of Curry/Randolph(I’d keep Curry…Randolph would probably be easier to trade and has a higher wage…plus Curry showed promise the year before this!
And then spend the money you clear off the cap on smart fair priced free agent acquisitons!
Easy

Tavrich says:
wow u love seeing big trades i hope baron does go though
knicks need some improvement and if they draft eric gordon they get baron they got randolph and others like marbury who is getting older. bron is needed there

May.25 at 8:03 am

Tavrich says:
sorry not bron baron

May.26 at 3:21 am

a-lis says:
Baron would be a fool to go to a new york team that is obviously looking to have a fire sale for 2010 when lebron will supposedly be a free agent. (not gonna happen just watch what cleveland does this summer) baron would be better off to push for a trade to cleveland.

May.26 at 12:08 pm

ballin-b says:
i dont think
they even have enough for him anyways
NY’s salary cap is
HUGE
