Russ Bengtson says:
What’s there to investigate? DON’T LIGHT ANYTHING ON FIRE IN NBA ARENAS. Wouldn’t that be a simple rule to establish? Boston Garden looks like a Civil War battlefield at the start of every game. It’s ridiculous. If they keep escalating the pre-game/in-game entertainment, they’re going to need to eliminate the actual basketball entirely.

See this is what’s wrong with the league right here. Instead of investigating this shi+, which was an innocent mistake, they should be focusing on things that the fans actually care about, like why the Pistons were awarded 3 points in a tight game that they should not have gotten last night…

DDB says:
But the NBA doesn’t investigate things that are their fault. They are never wrong. Only the teams and the players are wrong. In the case the Hornets were wrong so they get investigated. When the NBA screws up it gets swept under the rug.

I like the way the Garden looks at the start of every game, Russ. The smoke brings atmosphere.

you guys wouldn’t be so critical if you lived in a different time zone. im from england and nba games are shown at 1.30 in the morning, if i had to wait 20 minutes for a game to resume id be pissed.

I wonder if the Pistons and Magic will have to replay the final quarter and 5 seconds of the game like the Hawks and Heat did? Probably not since David Stern is a jackazz.

Something went wrong, they made a mistake, that’s it. So yeah. What Russ said. Like Joe Public: live and learn.
