Knicks and Bulls Have D’Antoni’s Ear

The former (?) Suns coach has been given the right to chat with the Knicks and Bulls about their coaching vacancies.

(Mike D’Antoni trying to transform Eddy Curry into a fast break force might just be the greatest thing ever.)

Tired of letting Zeke and MJ and Legend steal all the bad GM spotlight eh Steve?

Russ Bengtson says:
Both of those teams would also have to get entirely new rosters. Kirk Hinrich an uptempo point guard? Really? I think I’m just going to give up and start following baseball.

H to the izzo says:
I’d pay good money to watch Eddy Curry AND Jerome James play run and gun.Good money.

Russ Bengtson says:
The Knicks bringing in D’Antoni would be a good idea actually, because his offense would actually kill off the players they couldn’t buy out or trade.

BETCATS says:
either way if the knicks decide to just restart here is who they should keep: Jared Jefferies, Nate Robinson, Ronaldo Balkman, David Lee, Fred Jones, Jamal Crawlford. Everyone else just needs to leave

Russ Bengtson says:
Keep Jared Jeffries? Are you insane? (Don’t answer that.) If he were any more lost they’d have to install GPS in his Jordans. Isiah did a better job than JJ last year.

H to the izzo says:
Also,Jamal “Crawlford(again L is nowhere near W or F on the keyboard) doesn’t equal winning basketball to me.That could be just me though.

The Knicks need to flush out that whole roster

EHR says:
Shouldn’t D’antoni be angling for a shot at coaching the hawks? They have so many swingmen they could be brilliant running and gunning under his system

Z says:
I just don’t know why I can’t admit to myself that Hinrich is just an average/reliable NBA pg. I’d like him to be great. But he’s not.

The Promise says:
He would do better in New York…they need a change a scenery, something to excite them… the Bulls need a coach that will clean house and start over and have the patience to wait a year or 2 so they can get better…cause they aint gonna win with these guys…it just aint gonna work

jessica says:
if d’antoni came to new york, david lee would just run from one end of the court to the other by himself for the entire game

May.5 at 9:25 pm

Hursty says:
he does that any way Jessica.

Jimmy G says:
Chicago fits his system. Although it would be funny as hell to see Curry and Z-bo running up the court like two mini Shaqs.

Russ Bengtson says:
Yeah, I’ve reconsidered and I’ll take D’Antoni in Chicago. I’m sure Pax is relieved that I approve.
