Oh, this story is not B.S. A close friend of mine is a nurse in the Cardiac Unit at Beaumont Hospital (one of the best it the region), just north of Detroit. His heart is only 10% functional, she said. He was supposed to be sent to Univ. of Michigan hospital for the transplant, but it appears that after a few days of being admitted, he left for a 2nd opinion at Henry Ford Hospital (not quite as good as Beaumont for this type of stuff). They may be treating him for an irregular heartbeat, but just don’t be surprised when he’s either dead (unfortunately) or back in the hospital with his chest cut open. Ironically, he was admitted to Beaumont Hospital the same week as Rick Mahorn was in there for heart tests due to 40% failure. And even more surprising news than that, but Dave Bing (Hall of Fame former Piston) was in that unit the exact same week for heart tests, but his doesn’t seem to be as severe. Peter Vescey might not be the best reporter out there, but he got this one right, regardless of what DC says. DC is being told to deny it, I’m pretty sure, and that’s probably by his wife, Gina. She wears the pants.

for those of us that have been watching L since the early 90’s…this should come to no surprise, for the longest time vescey has had zero cred because he would constantly make up rumors, he went away for a while but it looks like hes making a comeback.
