Danny Ainge is the Best Exec in the Land
Kevin McHale did not necessarily say the following in his congratulatory call to Ainge: “See, Danny. See what I can do for you if you just stick by me? All of this, it could be yours!”

I figure McHale would say something more along the lines of “You’re welcome.”

did anyone pay close attention to the presentation of the award to ainge during game 5?–ainge looked soooo uncomfortable up there–like he knew mchale was really more worthy of the award…

I wonder if the NBA researched Ainge’s Brain Type before giving him the award.

I love how the announcers were saying that the Executive of the Year trophy is too small. Um, it’s for an executive. It’s probably going on their desk or a bookshelf, not a trophy case. What, was it supposed to be a big hulking trophy like the MVP? And if it were, what would the molding be of, a guy on the phone or a laptop? Obviously this really bothered me.

Mitch Kuptchak just traded 2 paper clips and a dozen rubberbands to Ainge for the EOY trophy.
