Carmelo Anthony Trade Talk Heats Up

by Marcel Mutoni

When the reports about New Jersey and Denver discussing possibly trading Carmelo Anthony first came out, they were lightly brushed aside as nothing more than “exploratory talks“. Now, it seems as though things are getting a little more serious.

With the draft lottery taking place tomorrow, the Nets and Nuggets are apparently busy working the phone lines to make a blockbuster trade happen.

Multiple league sources said the Nets and Nuggets have discussed a blockbuster deal that would bring Anthony and Marcus Camby to New Jersey. In return, Denver would get a package that includes Richard Jefferson, Marcus Williams, Keith Van Horn’s contract and the Nets’ lottery pick.

There likely is more involved to make the salaries match up, but the sources said the trade could happen, making Tuesday even more important.

That sound you hear? It’s that of Allen Iverson throwing up in his mouth a little.

Should this rumored trade go through, the makeup of both teams would obviously go through a massive change. And it would take a whole lot to convince Nuggets fans that they got the better of the deal.

Denver must really like Marcus Williams

Niio says:
WOOHOO that means Camby will be 2009 Defensive player of the year b/c of all the shot blocking opportunities from Anthony and Carter’s men blowing right pass them to the hoop.

May.19 at 10:42 am

Froggiestyle says:
So lemme get this right, they keep karl but deal Melo AND camby for an aging Jefferson? (Marcus who? Keith Van Crusty ?) - I assume this leaves them with lots of cap room.

poohbiz says:
as much as I’d like to see melo leave, I’d hate to see this trade go through
unless they luck out and get a top two lottery pick

BETCATS says:
RJ is gonna choke a b!tch if this happens

May.19 at 10:48 am

Ryan Jones says:
I’ll be predictable here and say I don’t think this trade is necessarily that bad for Denver. Melo’s really good, but he’s not shown many signs of being that transcendent superstar needed to compete out West. Losing Camby would be a bummer, but he’s also, what, 33 or 34 with a history of injuries? Adding RJ and Marcus to AI gives the Nugs a hell of a perimeter lineup; plus, they’re moving up in what looks like a pretty deep Draft. Beyond that, I’ll just say the same thing I said to Suns fans a few months ago: It ain’t guaranteed to work, but considering that what you had was pretty much guaranteed NOT to work, you might as well try something.
I look forward to the derision my comment will surely inspire.

Benoit Benjamin says:
I just don’t get trading a small forward for another, especially one that has less talent, while giving your best defensive player. it doesn’t make sense to me, where is the upgrade foe the Nuggets?

May.19 at 10:52 am

Benoit Benjamin says:
“for” the nugs. sorry.

May.19 at 10:52 am

Lz - Cphfinest3 says:
The should wait and trade Anthony’s lazy azz after the olympics he normally plays well in int. comp. so his value could soar. Othervise I’m with Ryan, Carmelo is probably the most frustrating superstar in the L, and if I was Nuggs I would do anything to get rid of him. As talented as he is he’ll never lead anybody to a championship, to lazy + bad attitude.

May.19 at 10:53 am

poohbiz says:
I agree with your “what they had didn’t work” assesment
but adding RJ and marcus isn’t compatible to adding shaq

May.19 at 10:53 am

Froggiestyle says:
Ryan, is this more about unloading Melo or getting a pick plus creating cap room? (Oh and does Karl stay?)

May.19 at 10:54 am

Needless to say, that would turn the Nets into a heck of a good team.

The Nets would suddenly be relevant, and one of Lebron’s “boys” would be in place for the eventual move to Brooklyn. The “Dynasty” indeed would be in it’s forming stages.

Silky Slim says:
Here’s another big name player potentially traded to a team that’s not going to get better! Does the Shaq trade to Phoenix or the Kidd trade to Dallas sound familiar to anyone?

May.19 at 10:56 am

Ryan Jones says:
If they could include George Karl in this trade, it would be a no-brainer.

May.19 at 10:57 am

BxBaller says:
They should’ve just fired Karl, it would’ve been a lot easier and made more sense. Besides, why are Nugget fans so quick to give up on Melo, I watch the Nets all the time, and RJ is OVERRATED. His stats were inflated thanks to JKidd. Perfect example, look at K-Mart’s career.

May.19 at 10:58 am

Lz - Cphfinest3 says:
Didn’t see that angle Eboy, but that is a very good reason why this could and should happen. And Carmellow is a NY boy to isn´t he?

May.19 at 10:59 am

Jess says:
terrible..and Im not even a big Melo fan, I just started watching the Nuggets when AI got traded. They would be giving up the little bit of defence that they have in Camby, and hasnt that been one of their major problems?

Why in the hell whould camby even be disscused as a trade

May.19 at 11:02 am

Silky Slim says:
Melo doesn’t have what it takes to lead a team. He’s still having too many off-the-court distractions. At some point, we just have to see him for who he really is. Melo is a great offensive player, but that’s all to his game. Melo will get you buckets, but he’s not going to get you defensive stops when you need him to. Melo is this generation’s Dominique Wilkins! He’ll put fans in the seats, but the team is going nowhere with him.

May.19 at 11:04 am

Marcel Mutoni says:
yes, the hawks were so much better off when they finally got rid of ‘nique.

May.19 at 11:05 am

Dee says:
i can actually see the nets future plan with this move. Alright, so they get Melo right now. And then in 2010, lebron will be a free agent. By then the nets will probably try to get rid of vince carter. They will sign lebron in 2010. It makes sense because carter’s huge salary will be off their backs and they can afford to give lebron a lot of money. Just think, melo is around 6′6″ 6″7″, he can play SG and lebron at SF. Then you have a lineup of harris, melo, lebron, krstic and boone in 2010. It sounds crazy, but who knows, we have seen some crazier things happen before.

TADOne says:
I’m with Ryan, as I am not totally sold on Melo as a franchise player just way. Depending on where the Nets end up in the draft lottery Tuesday, this could be a nice makeover for the Nuggets. Also, this would free up more shots for JR Smith, which i’m not sure at this point if that is a good or bad thing.

May.19 at 11:13 am

bakers' dozen (12-13) says:
I am a HUGE Melo fan, but here’s the rub:
With Camby playing D, the perimeter D is absent becasue players KNOW he’s got their back. With him gone, the perimeter needs to step up their D. That being said, Melo plays NO D at all! The Nuggs need scoring and D to work, and Melo bring the O, but that’s it. I don’t see the Nuggs doing this UNLESS they get Beasley or Rose in the draft (Rose is the target). They can replace Melo’s O, but if they can get a pure PG AND A BIG BODY in Roy Hibbert in the draft, they’ll have the size to compete in thepost, but the D on the perimeter to help them make the transition to a better half court team.
That being said, I hope Melo doestn’ go, but if he does, I wouldn’t mind seeing RJ out here.

May.19 at 11:18 am

Funkdoc says:
Indeed, Richard Jefferson isn’t all that good without Kidd. Since he left, it was VC who took over. Jefferson isn’t a player who can create much for himself. Unless Karl lets iverson or Marcus run some plays for RJ, he will mean nothing offensively. On the other hand, not that RJ is a super defender, in comparison to Melo, he’s a Shane Battier for the Nugs. With Melo and Carter defending the SFs and SGs respectively, that’s going to look worse than Soulja Boy’s clips. I used to feel sorry for Carter and RJ for getting Devin Harris and see Kidd go. Now i’m feeling sorry for D.Harris.

May.19 at 11:20 am

Marcel Mutoni says:
the problem with ‘melo and the rest of the denver team is that no one holds them accountable for not playing defense - which they’re all perfectly capable of doing. shouldn’t the coach be the one getting run out of town, not the guy who can score 30 in his sleep (and probably d up if given proper instruction/discipline?)

May.19 at 11:27 am

Cub Buenning says:
Marcel, no one holds them accountable for ANYTHING. Front office issue that has been heaped exclusively on George.
E, ironically enough, the “Dynasty” series actually took place in Denver.

May.19 at 11:27 am

Kevin Wilson says:
According to the story, the Nets have a 4 percent chance of getting into the top 3. Those are the same odds of this being a tolerable deal for Nuggets fans. If they do this deal, that pick can under no circumstances be lottery-protected.

May.19 at 11:27 am

Funkdoc says:
of course, Karl should go. But something evil in my mind tells me Melo is just that kind of person. He’s cool and all that and I love to watch him play. Offensively. I just don’t think Melo has the competitiveness in hom that other superstars have. Even with Melo and Carter, the Nets are going to dissapoint. People think that’ll be enough to be a big competitor in the Big Easy, but if I look at this years playoffs, I don’t see Melo and Carter get past the second round.

Kevin Wilson says:
That was totally called for, Mutoni.

May.19 at 12:22 pm

Rasheedionics says:
Denver was/is one player away from being a championship contender. They had a chance to get Ron Artest for Kleiza and they turned it down because they weren’t willing to trade Kleiza. But now they’re willing to trade Melo and Camby??? What sense does that make?

May.19 at 12:24 pm

Gerard Himself says:
If the Melo/Camby trade will happen, I will fly out to the US, find out where Rod Thorn lives during the off-season and I will congratulate him myself. Then he’ll offer me, one of the few Nets fans out there, a beer, and we will talk about the ABA, the VC trade and the Kidd trade, and laugh all the way back to the playoffs.

it doesn’t really matter with the nets anyway. how the f*ck are vince and melo going to co-exist. they play the same damn position. The nets would still be last place in the east no matter what. and the nuggets, they would be the same team as well. High powered offense with no clear sign of defense. Marcus camby gone? who are they going to take in the lottery if the trade did happen? Roy Hibbert? this is dumb beyond total comprehension.

Juk: Who is the 3rd mock superstar you speak of?

As much as I’m dying for Melo to get out for AI’s sake, this deal isn’t good. It’s not terrible, but I’m sure if Denver waits a while, they can get something much better. There are people who think this kid is a top 10 player. Let them bite.

May.19 at 2:28 pm

starbury&stevey says:
melo for R.J.it´s not so bad idea at all..but trading your best defensive player for a 5th/10th pick it sounds really bad.especialy when only m.campy plays D.oh,i forgot keith van horn..stupid move for nuggets at all.just fire the coach..

May.19 at 2:30 pm

Jukai says:
Carter loves to take three point shots when he is (was?) the best dunker of all-time. Melo dominates the posts whenever he plays on Team USA (and he always looks the best on the team) but pulls his best Vince-Carter impression when he’s in the NBA. Marcus Camby is like 7′1 yet will shoot from the free throw line whenever he feels he hasn’t shot eough. Capish?

Great move for both teams.

May.19 at 3:52 pm

Kevin says:
i kinda agree with Ryan Jones’ comments.. i know he’s won a lot of games, but i never liked George Karl.. in terms of the trade, i’m also more down with losing Camby than Carmelo, but maybe that gives room to Nene to finally step in and become that bruising 15point 10rebound center everyone always figured he could be.. that being said, is Richard Jefferson an improvement over anyone? eugh :/ i hate watching RJ play and his game in general..

May.19 at 3:52 pm

Tom says:
I love watching Melo on most nights, and I dont think he is the main reason for the Nuggets troubles. I dont think the Nugs front office knows how to properly build a championship team (or hire a coach), so I think Melo is better off going elsewhere where he has a chance to be a contender. Is that New Jersey? I dont know about that. Also, Im a little worried that Melo playing for Jay-Z in NY would only distract him from focusing on his game. He needs a solid coach to keep him focused.

May.19 at 3:59 pm

B. Long says:
Nuggets would get the totally fresh start they so desprately need and Jersey gets a welcoming gift for Lebron in 2010. Im sure Donnie Walsh is thrilled.

May.19 at 4:27 pm

Angel says:
This trade would benefit the Nets in a huge way. Melo’s defense is bad but Jefferson wasn’t a defensive stopper anywyas. Also, getting Camby will be a huge lift to our Defense. Melo is a top flight scorer so that will make us a threat in the playoffs.

May.19 at 4:29 pm

Lz - Cphfinest3 says:
WhaHuh; I don’t hate Melo, but hate the fact that he is wasting his talent bigtime because of a lack of effort/intelligence. I was a massive fan in his ‘cuse days. In the NBA not so much.
Let me ask you a question; If you really like basketball, how can you like a supremely talented guy chilling around shooting fadeaways and re-adjusting his headband, when he could be dominating? Doesn’t help his case that he sounds like “a special child” whenever he opens his mouth.

May.19 at 4:30 pm

Lz - Cphfinest3 says:
*…his case EITHER…

May.19 at 4:39 pm

Drew says:
After thinking about it, I revise my earlier comment. This trade makes sense from Denver’s standpoint only if NJ gets into the top 2 in tomorrow’s lottery. Otherwise, trading Melo makes no sense. He may not be a transcendant superstar, but he is a 23-year-old very good player. The Nuggets were one of the worst teams in the league until he got here, and now they are competative every year. Fire Karl, trade Camby, do anything else, but don’t trade Melo. You don’t become a good team in this league by doing things like that.

May.19 at 4:46 pm

Zack says:
Look. They are trying to mix things up because obiviously Carmelo and AI are not meshing like we thought they would. This just means that besides Jefferson, the Nuggets are trying to get some new young talent and have a quick 2 year developing plan around their future picks and AI and K-mart. I honestly think that whatever happens, the nuggets won’t be much worse. Either way LA will dominate the west the next 8 years

I really think this would work for both teams. Nuggets: Get rid of Melo who just isn’t working out in Denver and needs a change of scenery. Get a legit PG in Williams who is still a 1st rd pick and one of the best college PGs in recent memory. He has all the tools, just needs a shot. Plus playing with AI can’t hurt. Camby would be a big loss but he is getting old and they could use the lottery pick on a Kevin Love or Anthony Randolph. A lot of you are hating on RJ but I see him as an upgrade from Anthony in terms of team chemistry and locker room presence. He’s a hard worker, plays defense, has a lot of playoff experience, and would be a great secondary scorer to AI in my opinion. Nets: Melo is a superstar, make no mistake. And contrary to popular belief he is a winner. Have you all forgotten his one year with Syracuse? He needs a change and he needs to not be coached by George Karl. Camby would be a great pickup, his only downside being his age but they’ve still got Sean Williams and Boone. Marcus Williams is surplus to requirements with Devin Harris running the show. My only question is how will this change the plan to bring LeBron to Brooklyn if Melo and him play the same position?

Look you guys can say whatever you want but this is a good trade for the Nuggets.
They arent going anywhere in the West and are stuck in mediocre hell with 1st round exit’s every single year.
In this trade they get a PG with redicolous amount of potential (he needs to be traded from the Nets, they just have no room for him with formerly Kidd and now Devin Harris) a great SF in Jefferson, a bunch of expiring contracts to sign FA and get rid of that huge Marcus Camby contract.

As a Knick fan we’lll take that 30 a game for basically spare part shoot we could even throw in take the expiring contract of Nene… (whispering in my ear)…what he actually played year…. No way anyone could disappear that fast after signing a mega deal multimillion dollar deal even Larry Johnson waiting a few years before losing his value.

cdro says:
this trade is stupid. I think if they do trade antohny then Ai will opt out and return to philly.

May.20 at 9:55 am

jahmai says:
I think that they should not get rid of Carmelo Anthony or Allen Iverson. They are two great players. They belong on the nuggets team and niether one should go. I really hope that they can get rid of Linas Klazia or Edurado Najera verses them. The nuggets can make it to the playoffs and the nets couldnt. Despite everything, Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson belong on the Denver Nuggets team.

May.20 at 10:12 am

Cub Buenning says:
This is silly.
There are easily 3-4 games the Nuggets let get away—they are the 4/5 seed and these “discussions” aren’t even taking place.
Not that they are in Denver, anyway.
This won’t happen.
Make AI a point or move him.

May.20 at 12:59 pm

Trade Karl!! says:
WTF?? Trade Karl he’s just an ok coach…Nothing special about him. With the talent Denver had they should have at least made it to the second round. Lastly, why didn’t the trade for Ron Artest ever happen?? I’ll tell you why….Because Karl can’t coach defense!

Cub, AI ain’t the problem. And if they are counting on him to become the point, well they are going to have some issues for a long time.

May.20 at 3:24 pm

Sean Maloney says:
All I have to say is this - Richard Jefferson is respectable, but why in anyones right mind would the Nuggets do this? I know we’ve been f-ed in the playoffs for the past half of a decade, but seriously… what will AI and Karl do when this goes through - Melo’s half the reason we go to the playoffs in the first place. More than helf the jerseys at the Pepsi center are Carmelo jerseys, this would kill the city of Denver as far as basketball goes

Yes finally a reason to go see the nets play

Mike says:
Obviously this proves once and for all that The GM of Denver Nuggets have no Idea what they r doin when it comes to building a team from up and down! They are thinkink of trading Carmello Freakin Anthony a virtual Superstar could easily b in the top 10 in the league and his stats proves it. Hes on par with lebron kobe A.I and D wade offensively. He is on the olympic eam and was the best player on that team last year. Hes an allstar of great caliber though he lacks the competitiveness and defensive mindset of a kobe and lebron but thats about It. What the hell is a first round pick and richard jeferson n marcus williams going to do that Carmello and Marcus camby defensive player of the year could not. Now they want to make a personel change? They shouldve done that 4 weeks before the playofs when everyone knew Denver defense was Horribly horrendous ! There was an opputunity for dem to trade linas kleiza j.r sMITH nAJERA AND A DRAFT PICK FOR rON ARTEST .One of the top 5 defensive player in the league. Did they trade for him no! They would have had 2 great deensive players in camby and artest not to mention hes a pretty good scorer! But they chose not to go ahead with the deal n now they are willin to trade 2 starters ???? I dnt get it may b if they had made the trade some 1 woulve been able to guard kobe and he wouldnt have droped 49 points on dem ! If U r gna trade carmello for some 1 it should be a proven star of da seem caliber like a dwayne wade not a 3 pick because if the Nets get a first or second they arent even willin to trade dat pick for melo or camby!

May.20 at 7:39 pm

3allnet says:
What a joke!!! The Nuggets would set them self back years (and may never recover). Why would you trade away a first team all-star in the prime of his career? The NBA is a star league and the Nuggets went way too long without a star before they got Melo. Are they really that goofy???

May.20 at 8:06 pm

NUGZ FAN says:
WTF r the nugz thinkn. I mean melo does have a sucky attitude and he can b a ballhog bt still. N camby only has like 1 more year, bt think wat we could do with him if we tought him and to b more aggressive! n i no we shud get rid of melo, bt we r just lookn to give him away for n e body!

May.20 at 9:45 pm

jacob says:
ok williams is one of the better youg guards in the game and could be incredible, bu putting boone and camby together down low and carter and melo on the wings will be insane, and jefferson is not aging, just injuring

May.20 at 10:07 pm

Southernmudd says:
That would not even be an even trade in now way shape form or fashion. Trade Carmelo but somebody else has to come along with the deal. Marcus? Keith? and Richard Jefferson…there has to be something better out there.

NJ NETS RULE says:
MELO would be a perfect fit in NJ. You guys in Denver are so boring. VC and MELO YO!!!

May.21 at 1:20 am

pete says:
what they need is a new coach not old and nameless players Melo and A.I., J.R Smith, Kleiza, Camby, Martin, Nene (healthy) are all valuable components. They need a decent backup pg a defensive minded player (bowen etc.) and a new coach with half a mind to utilize the players right. sometimes watching Karl, it seemed like he was spacing out half the time. Yes I’m abit frustrated with Melo at times as he tends to shoot too much, but they guy has some serious talent that will flourish under the right tutorledge. peace

May.21 at 11:32 am

Moe Skins says:
i hope this deal goes thrugh Melo, VC, and the Marcus Camby, my man Melo is sure to get out of the first round!

I’m glad nj landed at 10, besides how could Denver trade a starting allstar and the only form of defense they have for avg players and cap space? Carmelo still has a lot of potential

SFB says:
Bring him to Chicago!!!! - We’ll give you Hinrich, Gordon, and Nocioni!!!

May.21 at 7:05 pm

Larry says:
This seems like a pretty good trade to me b/c im a net fan. Melo and Camby comin to Jersey would be great. We could afford to lose Jefferson for Melo. Williams isn’t that great. Camby wouldn’t be a bad add on either. This is a way better trade for the nets and i can’t imagine Jefferson and Melo playing on oposite teams.

May.21 at 10:48 pm

jkap says:
dont think this would be good. They(Nets) should just draft te big man from miss state with the 10th pick instead of Camby who has limited years left in th NBA and take Brandon rush or Chris-Douglas-Roberts with the 21st pick and try for a more mature and experianced player than carmelo anthony. Even though they should get rid of R.J. He dosent cut it as a good NBA player

zloppy z says:
i would defenitly like to see melo in NJ. but denver would have A problem after that… wtf they do wit RJ? ok, he can score, but they can’t get everything out of AI if they’re missing camby and melo. and there’s nobody doing D if they trade camby! tell me who’s gonna defend out there?? ok, they will have a couple of draft picks but they’re just rookies, they don’t win games man… if this trade will hapen I really hope that we’re not seeing 15-64 record in colorado…

May.23 at 7:32 am

zloppy z says:
Im feelin’ this…we gon see new jersey, new champions in the nets man…

Mason says:
you people id think you all watch sports center instead of real games. carmelo is the top 5 best player in the NBA hands down. He is the biggest offensive threat since kobe not one single human being even a bear (antwan randel al)can guard him MAN UP. yeah he is a poor ass defender, hey im from syracuse ive seen him play probably more than anyone here.but if he got put in a good man to man defensive system he could do major damage. stop watchin espn and you would of saw carmelo play a semi OK job on the best player on the planet.. CARMELO TO CHICAGO THEN DRAFT ROSE OR
CARMELO TO THE KNICKS AND GET MAYB LBJ AND WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP THAT YEAR thanks autographs later

May.24 at 7:14 pm

OMG Don't trade! says:
Please don’t do this! You can’t be this dumb George Karl! It isn’t possible! Who will we have to score all those points that melo does?! Who will we have to get those rebounds and blocks and play defense like Camby does?

May.26 at 9:07 pm

MELOINNJ says:
OMFG YES TRADE MELO TO NJ IM A BIG MELO FAN AND GUYS… IMAGINE MELO IN NJ HE WOULD BE WITH WADE AND BRON AND HE WILL BE THE BEST OF 3… IMAGINE… MELO AND VC!!!! OMFG THAT WOULD OWN! AND MASON… HOW DO YOU TRADE MELO TO KNICKS WHEN THEY JUST HAD A VERY BIG FIGHT LIKE A YEAR AGO THAT GAVE MELO A 15 GAME SUSPENSION?

Jun.1 at 10:10 pm

Robert Pack says:
ah melo, he lacks passion and desire. overall they are just expecting too much from him. he avoids the responsibility of carrying a team. his value is overrated. judging from his style of play in denver he will always be the “2nd superstar of the team”. key player=yes. team leader=no. put him in miami maybe he and wade can make good music.

I don’t think this is true. This is just something that a Nets’ fan made up in his mind.

If it happends nets are gonna make the play-offs for sure!! and with one of the shot blockers in the NBA it’ll be sweet! See you in the play-offs NETS!

Jun.3 at 11:12 am

melo boy says:
Do it! melo playing aside with vince carter, defensive player and teammate marcus camby, and non ball hog and good all around player, devin harris! this is exactly what melo needs! A Break. When he struggles, the nuggets lose. And he struggles alot because iverson is such a ball hog! but if melo goes to the nets, he will get the ball much much more and attack the rim alot more. Plus even if he is having a bad game, he has camby, carter, and harris to lean on. Good deal for nets!!!!!!!!!
not so good for nuggets! And they’re talking about trying to pick up lebron. Jay Z is! if he succeeds no one will stop new jersey. lebron and melo is enough but vince carter devin harris, and marcus camby!! that will be the 2009 nba team that makes it to the finals

Jun.3 at 11:19 am

melo boy says:
Melo boy to Robert Pack…
do you know anything about basketball? melo is a beast! And about this team leader, iverson is the team leader and is also the biggest ball hog i know. if he would pass the ball to melo more melo would dominate! Wade is a fag! dont hate on melo because you dont know the first thing about him!

MC RICK says:
all yall are some right carmelo going to be traded to the nets because jay-z owns the team and lebron is going to go to the nets hes signed with the roc they will be a killer match up no problem but i dont like lebron but they would be unstoppable and with camby!!!! rj is a bum i seen him play if Melo step his d up he could be the man him lebron wade and CP3 the games best their histroy in the making.

Jun.17 at 2:26 pm

denvernugs says:
Camby is going downhill, Melo surely didn’t have his greatest season, but I don’t see the point in trading Melo after only one full year with AI, and then getting rid of your top defensive player who was around for more games this season than he has been in many seasons past. I don’t see how RJ could bring much more to the Nugs. Screw Marcus Williams in this trade. Do these guys make up for nearly twenty six points, 14 rebounds, over three blocked shots, etc? The answer is resounding NO. I would be one pissed off Nugs fan if this happens. What will happen when AI discovers that his whole reason for coming to Denver just left? You think he will stick around? Hell no. AWFUL IDEA. If anything big needs to happen this offseason (I hate to say it, because I’ve supported him for so long) it’s the firing of George Karl. Keep Melo, keep Camby. Give this team another year together.

Ronnie says:
creo que seria un buen cambio para los nets, me gustaria ver ese talento juvenil de harrys y melo con la experiencia de carter y camby seria un buen equipo para aspirar al titulo de la NBA esta temporada 2008-2009
