Rick Carlisle to coach the Bulls?

On Saturday Andres Nocioni became the fourth Bull to have an altercation with a coach. Bring in Carlisle. Oh, and also in the column “praise” for Isiah for helping the Pistons become one of the best teams in the league over the past 7 years.

I’ve wanted Carlisle in Chicago since Skiles got bounced. Hope it happens.

Carlisle is a decent coach, still think they need to trade Gordon for a big athletic 2guard - Larry Hughes is not the answer.

Chicago has a lot of talent. Adding Rick Carilisle would help guys like Joakim Noah and Andres Nocioni…guys that have had trouble with the coaches…hes a players coach and he will let him play their style…I totally agree with Lz-Cphfinest3…Larry Hughes is definitely not the answer…he is a shadow of his former self, nothing compared to what he was in Washington…they gotta do some kind of trade to get him out of there…im starting to think that Ben gordon is not the answer there either…i say they trade both of them either for the number one pick or a guy like Dywayne Wade, though they probably couldnt trade for him…maybe jason Richardson…a bina fide 2guard/scorer is what they need…they dont need to trade Kirk Hinrich, hes not the problem…the problem theyve had in recent years is drafting forwards over and over when they needed a scorer to complement Hinrich and Gordon…instead they draft Luol Deng,Tyrus Thomas, and Joakim Noah…all forwards…no scorers…thats the problem…until they draft a guy like Mayo or Eric Gordon or trade for a scorer, they aint gonna get no better no matter who coaches them…they gotta do that first then get Carilisle…then you could watch out for them…

jeremy i agree with everything you said but deng averaged 22 7 and 5 or so last year. He’s not a true scorer but he can light it up.

Deng is soft.

hursty says,”hes not a true scorer but he can light it up”… im sorry but that is a pretty dumb comment…Luol Deng ia a small forward…i said they needed a 2guard…

jeremy says:
by the wat hursty, i got on the official bulls website, and this year hes averaging 17.5 a game…numbers dont lie…thats not exactly what i would call lighting it up…

after having personal experience with carlisle here in indy, i dont think he would be a good fit. their already anemic offense wouldnt improve (bad, obviously). The pacers players eventually tuned him out, although i cant pin that entirely on carlisle. he would be a terrific head coach if there was an assistant coach who specialized in offense who could help him out, because carlisle brings terrific D but slow and boring O.
