Even though he is a co-owner of the company, Al Harrington doesn’t wear Protege yet because he is under contract with Nike through the ‘08-’09 season. Steven Jackson’s contract with Adidas ended after last season and he started wearing Jordans, although he didn’t have a shoe contract to do so. Now that the Protege has come out, Jackson has signed a shoe contract with Protege will be strictly wearing this signature shoe from now on.
