Pat Riley returns… for now…
Coach Riley had a nice little scouting trip vacation. But now it’s back to coaching, I think, for a few days anyways. Or as Stephen A. Smith put it on TV the other day, “HE DOESN’T NEED TO BE OUT SCOUTING HE NEEDS TO BE THERE WITH HIS PLAYERS WATCHING THAT BASKETBALL ABOMINATION HE CREATED!!!!!!”

Kind of agree with Stephen A. but really, without the franchise player, the starting center, starting power forward, starting small forward, backup center and newest starting SF all missing a huge portion of the season is it really hard to see why he’s looking to concentrate on next season?

Eboy has a point folks…why would he waste his time coaching when he could be watchin guys like tyler hansbrough and figurin out whos the best draft pick? I think he will have 2 decide between Beasley and Hansbrough…I think both will be franchise players and will be in the league 4 a long time… and for the record,who would want to coach that team?i would be scouting picks 2 if i had that team…

Riley deserves this joke of a team. I still cannot believe what he did to SVG. That sh*t is messed up. Good for Van Gundy though, leading the Magic to a great season. Yea, robbed of the ‘06 ring, but in my books his fingers aren’t ringless.
