The Clippers desperately want him to go so they can sign a cheap knockoff Elton Brand for next season. Elton Off-Brand?

Russ, wouldn’t that be (for a number of reasons) KMart?

CJ, there ARE a hand full of teams that could possibly beat Team USA. You putting France and Germany in that scenerio proves you shouldn’t be the one to state that fact.

chintao says:
Did somebody say, JKidd? Sounds like an argument as to why the US might be in trouble. Further, as the US has learned repeatedly, best players do not equal best team; however, best team frequently equals gold.

How about Elton John then?

chintao, knock on the man when he’s down? Sure why not. The Mavs are struggling mightily - go right ahead. But check out JKidd’s international record and you’ll find your cheeks turning a little rosy.

That’s rosey, of course.

KID — you fools, had lebron, wade, melo, howard last time and lost, with kobe you might have a chance to beat greece this time. france are the golden state warriors of the international game (no chance for sure), germany (no chance at all) but you missed spain, spain will beat you by 5 points sealing the deal with a calderon 3.

Once, just once, I’d like for FIBA to play a tournament by NBA rules so the Americans can shut the rest of the world up. For the record I’m not American, I’m just sick of Euros thinking they own basketball now because FIBA follows the Euroleague p*ssy ass rules.

Apr.1 at 5:28 am

A.G. says:
What> FIBA rules are more a lot more physical, and reward athleticism more than NBA rules. You sound like dont know what you talk about. This makes USA’s recent failures the more sad, by the way.

hursty says:
nice idea what. the whole construction of the NBA is for the ELITE. thats why the rules are different aren’t they? to separate the great from the best…. you get my/your point.
