I’d rather have Hillary Duf….er, Mike Miller.

I was hoping this would be some crazy link to Craig Hodges. Damn.

Houston would be perfect, Novak seems to be turning into the same type of player, but is still raw and doesn’t shoot as quickly as Kapono..but Kapono probably makes too much to work a deal out

Hoop Dreamz says:
The Raptors should be shopping Sam Mitchell’s dumb a$$, not Kapono. This guy’s idea of coaching is playing a completely different 7-8 man rotation every game, leaving competent dudes like Kapono, Juan Dixon and Kris Humphries with a slew of DNP-CD’s… then the next week, it’ll be Delfino and Nesterovic pickin’ out bench splinters. I swear he picks names out of a hat or sumthin!

RV says:
they do have a lot of guys who are solid players, may make more sense for them to ship out 2 or 3 to get another starter, therefore tightening up the rotation

RV says:
i think their PG, SF, and PF positions are more than set, they should trade for a pure shooting SG with size and strength, and a more athletic center, Rasho doesn’t really fit

Captain America says:
Trade dunker G-Green for 3-pointer Kap.

Jeronimo says:
Thank you Captain America, but no thank you, you keep Green.

Russ Bengtson says:
Oh well, he’s already played for four teams, what’s one more? Cleveland should get him back.

drew says:
i thought the cavs never gave him a real chance the first time around. they tried to make him create his own shot and thats not what kapono does

like Kobe…Jason’s only good with Shaq

Jukai says:
Kapono needs a point guard who’ll get him open looks. Phoenix, Cavs, Utah, New Orleans. Take yer pick. He might end up on another team but he’ll be damn well near useless there.

RV says:
Kapono needs anyone that can get him an open shot

riggs says:
kapono needs 5 ball racks placed around the 3 point line.

Kevin says:
i think the Raps need to trade 2-3 of their “solid” players like Kapono, Nesterovic, Dixon for a really good perimeter player who can really make plays.

G Diesel says:
I say Kapono for Anderson Varejao straight up. The Raptors need some toughness and Cleveland needs a pure shooter.

Tom says:
Well it was gonna come down to picking between Delfino or Kapono, and Delfino is much more all-around….if the Raps can package Kapono and and some bench guys for a solid big man like Dalembert, things will be looking a lot better for the Raps
Feb.19 at 5:09 pm
Kevin says:
mmmmm, does anyone know if Dalembert’s actually available though? i can’t see why Philly would want Kapono’s contract after jus shedding Korver’s… Juan Dixon would be a crappier version of Louis Williams, and Nesterovic is a big downgrade from Dalembert..

niQ says:
actually.. green might actually be a good trade for kapono. after vince, toronto never really had that type of player. we need someone who will slash to the rim (well at least vince in his prime)

daniel says:
i dont think linas kleiza is really as good as he’s talked up, he gets no defensive attention because of carmelo and AI and JR smith. i think sacremento would be getting ripped with that trade for artest. and also, thats a great reward for repeating as 3 point champ.

Tom says:
where’s Russ and his trade machine when you need him?
Feb.19 at 9:02 pm
Sesa says:
Why trade Kapono?
The most sensible trade for Kapono is for the knicks traded with Q Richardson.
Feb.19 at 9:41 pm
Glen says:
daniel, the Kings are just looking to get rid of Artest and get SOMETHING in return, since he’s going to opt out at the end of the season. And Sesa, I don’t think Kapono’s salary is high enough for Isaiah to even look at him…

Dacre says:
Kapono is like a larger version of Tim Legler…Shoots the lights out in the 3 point contest and thats about it.
