I love Shaq, but he goes to a team, becomes successful, and then leaves the team and his superstar sidekick, in ruin. Orlando, Los Angeles, Miami… Phoenix?

I asked out Scarlett. Neither one is going to work out.

Hahaha Spaceship Jay, that’s the obvious pattern I see but for some reason, everyone loves the Big guy (I can see why, but not to the ridiculous extent of most people) and they won’t ever knock the Diesel about that. The media won’t dare to even ask him about that trend of enjoying the success and leaving when the going gets tough because of 2 reasons: Either they’re scared, or they’ll know such a question will only be met with a classic humourless ego-pumping statement that you’d expect from no one except Superman himself. Something like… “I didn’t leave a bad team. When a team loses a player of my calibre that makes everyone around him better, hell yeah they’re gonna decline” *cue BIG SHAQ GRIN and the onslaught of forced laughter from the room*
With that said, I do blame his departure from LA on the Rapist.

Well said tealish. But 1) Kobe could be secretly funding a Castro-like campaign with his NBA paychecks.. rings are rings. 2) Dwayne Wade complained about Shaq’s well known lack of motivation, and was praised for his “Leadership Skills.” But Kobe said the EXACT same thing back then, and was crucified for it. The results seem to be progressing though; perhaps Nash/Stoudemire will recieve a Nobel Prize if they complain…
