KG’s Still Out?
Yes, he is. For what the Celtics are claiming is a no-big-deal injury, Garnett sure has been out for a curiously long time.

Hassan is correct. KG will be fully energized and healthy for the playoffs. Meantime, the team is playing well in his absence.

He can take all the rest time he needed. The Celtics still had Pierce and Ray-ray to hold the ground.

@Sesa - On point. The Celtics need some rest, especially the big three. If they’re going to carry the team to the Finals, they can’t be beat up going into the playoffs.

Abdominal injuries are hard to predict, and the Celtics are what, 33-8? I think KG can afford to take a couple more games off to make sure he’s healthy.

Im coll with all this. It means more time for Oakland’s finest, Leon Powe, to shine. Maybe this will force Doc Rivers to get his head out of his ass and give Leon some burn even when KG comes back. We can play big baby AND Leon, although I don’t think Docs aware of this. Glad to see he focused on the important part of the season, the first half. Take ten minutes from the starters and give it to Leon, god knows are guys are versatile enough position wise to make it work.

Celts will go the way of the Pats - nyuk nyuk nyuk. Expectations too high, let down will be real low. Don’t cry Beantown, think of Minnie and the Wolves…
