Wade Goes Down Again

Could the Heat’s season get any worse? Apparently. Dwyane Wade injured his pinkie finger and once again hurt his right shoulder, the same shoulder which caused him to miss the first seven games of this forgettable season.

Tanking season ‘08 has started?

bobby stew says:
Shaq and Wade will be hurt until All-Star weekend and then get injured again in early March. Wade should start demanding trades in early April as Daquean Cook gets plenty of leftover minutes and points.

Also, did they remove the arena roof to let an emergency helicopter take him out?

That chipmunk cheeked bi*ch needs to man up and do something besides cry to the refs. This motherfu*ker has me heated for real right now. Sorry Dwyane, but if your supporters can’t beat up on you, who can.

The pinkie finger is an important appendix.

Pete, I thought the same thing when I looked at the Heat’s starting lineup last night.

Your screen name seems appropriate to what I did to yours last night. From behind, on the stairs, in the shower, everywhere the juices flowed.

Keith says:
Wade needs to man up right about now. The Heat need some fight in them. Did no-one learn from Zo?!

Jan.3 at 11:25 am

Ryan Jones says:
He’ll get up, though, right? I mean, that’s what he does. Fall down, get up, fall down, get up…

Jan.3 at 11:25 am

Holly MacKenzie says:
Dwyane is SUCH a complainer and is always on the refs, but both of his shoulders should be sore after trying to carry Shaq and the rest of the Heat’s dead weight around.

Jan.3 at 11:25 am

Ryan Jones says:
Also: “Ass*ole.” What an oddly placed asterisk.

white hot eboy says:
Holly, go back to the Post Up before you get burned. I love you and all, but damn, not you too.

i think Pta Rilley must to go out.he must to left Miami to be coached by another man.He is older he win enought’s rings. The team is work so worst,d-wade scored 48 point with orlando but we loss 40(1) with nets we loss,we loss with m. bucks this is a team that beat us m.bucks.Every team in the league i think that beat us evem minnesota and memphis i think, we loss even with seattle. This is our incredible team that loss every match.I didn’t see Shaq in a match for a long time even he is injury, i think Shaq is older and he can’t stay cost to cost with another players. In my oppinion this is the worst season of Shaq and at the same time miami heat.I love heat this is my team in the NBA but i can’t see how the another teams beat us,not only the best but in the same time the worst 76ers etc.

TAD, I love Holly, but I can’t take the mental anguish from her, it’s bad enough I see Ryan’s name this early in the day.

ahahhaahahahah Eboy, After reading your posts above I don’t even want to know what you have waiting for me if I comment any further so I will gladly back away from the Heat rage now.

Yeah, I was surprised about the Farmer Jones sighting. Could be an interesting day.

couple things:
How many times is Kadeem Wade suppossed to fall down? Is that in his shoe contract? Eboy, please no momma jokes this morning unless you can interpolate from the Pharcyde’s version. And Keith, what would Zo’s lesson be, get out of Canada, Miami’s a lovely place to grow feeble?

Jan.3 at 11:43 am

white hot eboy says:
d.y., I only went there cause of his screename. Plus he looks for reactions, so I figured I’d give him one he can cut and paste and put in a file somewhere so he can remember the day someone spoke to him.

Jan.3 at 11:52 am

Keith says:
Ha, no quite d.Y. The fact that dude played his entire career getting beat up and never once whined about it. I guess some players can just play with a bruised little finger and smoe guys can’t. No biggie.

Jan.3 at 11:55 am

Hisham says:
I hereby give Ryan’s joke its due props. I now have to explain to my boss why I laughed out loud at my screen. Thank you

Injuries hurt worse when you’re losing. and I don’t think the bruised shoulder is the same one that he had surgery on.

Russ Bengtson says:
If the Heat get a top-five pick, that should make them feel better. Provided they can one day trade the Shaqbatross. Not sure about anyone else, but I didn’t expect to see a full-strength Wade until next season anyway.

Jan.3 at 1:09 pm

Cheryl says:
I didn’t either, Russ. But I figured 60 percent would at least get us to the playoffs, with a little help from the rest of the guys. Guess we were all wrong.

Jan.3 at 1:15 pm

d.Y. says:
Cheryl, are you saying Shaq and Mr Whitley are pulling a Riles?

Jan.3 at 1:17 pm

Russ Bengtson says:
It’s just the wrong mix, I guess. Factor in that Dorell Wright never got a chance to play, Shaq’s fallen off a cliff, and Jason Williams is Jason Williams again, and——FI-RE RI-LEY!

Jan.3 at 1:24 pm

Khalid Salaam says:
Heat ‘07-’08 season is over. This is the last straw i suppose. At one point i entertained thoughts that they could still sneak in the 8 spot but forget it. Wade is still great though, they just don’t have much of anything else. No wonder Mo Williams stayed in Milwaukee. Then again, nevermind that. They could have used him. Or Korver. I would have liked their pick for the SIxers way more than Utah’s pick.

It’s hard to believe this team was the 2005-2006 season. Of course the roster changed a little bit, but still.

Keep Isiah says:
The ‘S’ tattoo on Shaq now stands for ’super size that’. Let’s face it, Shaq is totally out of shape. That’s why he’s playing like crap. He’s fat because he just doesn’t care anymore. Now’s he’s got Mark Blount’s attitude and Antoine Walker’s diet. No way Shaq is in Wade’s Fav5 anymore.

does this mean everyone will start hating on wade for constantly getting hurt, like they did for vince?

Jan.4 at 9:45 am

QQ says:
Everyone’s hatin’ on Vince because he is a quitter and plays with no heart. Don’t compare that b*tchass to Dwyane.

Jan.4 at 1:12 pm

Harlem_World says:
Dwayne Wade isn’t on Lebron’s level. We can put that one to bed early. On another note, Ryan Jones is consistently and continually entertaining and imho the regular season MVP on these boards.

Steve from Boston says:
Wade was better than Lebron in 04-05, 05-06 and 06-07(Until he got injured)…………………………….. anyways, I hope he doesnt rush back from injury again, he was a GREAT allaround player before he got injured and a true special young talent, very fun to watch……… get well and THEN come back Dwyane. For real.

Apr.14 at 6:47 pm

Steve from Boston says:
Im with you Russ, I didnt think Wade would be back to normal til next season either……. and theyll have a top 4 pick to get a bigman with (Draft one or trade the pick for one), and they got Shawn Marion in return for dumping Shaq and his contract……… theyll be back by next year I bet. Yes, that soon…… as long as Wade is back to normal.
