The Suns management did him dirty. So, of course he has no regrets

Russ Bengtson says:
How many titles have the Suns won since he left again? Oh wait, let me rephrase: How many times have the Suns been to the Finals since he left again? What’s there to regret, really?

t.dot dude says:
maybe alot of losses

Abed says:
Russ, if Joe was still there the Suns would have won a title a couple of times. 2 years ago they had the Amare injury that did them in, and last year they had a crooked ref and Stern do them in. The point is they are a legitimate threat to win every year, and because Joe was an idiot, he went to the Hawks who have sucked to high Heavens for the past 8 years. That’s what he has to regret.

Russ Bengtson says:
What-ifs are easy. Maybe he got tired of listening to Amare and Shawn complain all the time. Now he’s the centerpiece of a young, up-and-coming team. Maybe that’s what he really wanted?

Reggie Evans says:
I agree with Russ and Joe Johnson.

I agree with just Joe Johnson. Young and upcoming team? No. 70 million dollars richer after leaving the Suns? Yes.

Ryne Nelson says:
Hawks are on the slide. Sorry Lang. No playoffs this year, either.

Jan.30 at 3:31 pm

Co Co says:
Where are they sliding to Ryne? They’d have to have been up to slide down. The Hawks are right where they have been the past couple.

davidR says:
i think the hawks can pull it together the second half of the season and make the playoffs. unless indiana, chicago, or charlotte can get it together, or new jersey weathers this kidd storm, i don’t see who’s going to take the 7 or 8 spot from them

John E. Sanford says:
Why should he have regrets? He’s a multi-million for cripes sake. From my viewpoint what does he have to regret? He had a chance to make more money at a different locale, I know if I get the chance to do that I’m on the first plane smoking. Besides he gets to live out his dream and isn’t that what life is really all about and plus he is living in the Atl. Seriously, what’s to regret.

d.Y. says:
“Look, I’ve never had a dream in my life.
Because a dream is what you wanna do, but still haven’t pursued. I knew what I wanted and did it till it was done, so I’ve been the dream that I wanted to be since day one.” - no regrets

Jan.30 at 5:56 pm

Ryne Nelson says:
@Co Co - They were in the running for a six-spot. Now, I can see them falling out of the playoff picture again.

Kiran n7 says:
Don’t think their gonna make it.
