that staph infection was the scariest thing of all. Imagine, finding your loved one lying there with a 104 temperature, his entire body shaking as a result of the ankle surgery? Then the awful news of his wife Tamia being diagnosed with MS at the age of 28? Grant is a class act and I hope he gets to finish out the season and get some joy from this game he loves so much.

I still remember a story of Tamia before she met Grant. She was born in Windsor, Canada, right across the river from Detroit. I don’t remember who did the interview, but she was asked if there was someone famous she would like to me that she hasn’t yet. It was early in her career. Anyway, she responded that she wanted to meet Grant Hill because she thought he was fine. He caught wind of the article and they were setup to meet. The rest is history. Sorry, kind of off topic.
