Rasheed Wallace Is Amazing

Check out what he did to Jason Maxiell as the poor guy tried to conduct a courtside interview.

I’d throw balls at my successor, too. He should be that creative with his post game.

That’s what a team is all about. Not a professional team, but whatever. It’s nice to see they not always act like pros. Gotta love Sheed and rest of the Bad Boys 2.

That was awesome

Russ Bengtson says:
If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.

white hot eboy says:
dy, I love Sheed’s persona and fire, but his game is so overrated it’s not funny.

riggs says:
haha i was just thinking about that movie phrase russ

Trace says:
Sheed’s the greatest, and back in the days with Portland he actually did kill people on his own, but also his own team by throwing up t’s for a living….

Z says:
I’m with Eboy on this one, Sheed gave you 19 and 7 in his heydays. Now it’s more like 12 and 6. He’s basically a screaming Donyell Marshall at this point of his career. I mean ppl make fun of Curry all the time because he’s not hitting the glass… What about Sheed?

Dec.3 at 4:15 pm

white hot eboy says:
Z, since the Pistons championship season, Sheed is so much of an afterthought on that squad. Tayshaun is the best forward on the team, Maxiell their most aggressive and Sheed, while still owning a fantastic 3 point stroke, is just too inconsistent to be scary anymore.

Dec.3 at 4:30 pm

Ryan Jones says:
Sheed’s skill set is disgusting. If he brought it every night, he’d be the single biggest matchup nightmare in the League. That said, three problems: 1) He only brings it every three weeks or so; 2) he is, inexplicably, much, much more comfortable being a role player; 3) he’s bat-sh*t crazy.

Dec.3 at 4:31 pm

Ryan Jones says:
*Clarification: The above statement may no longer be true, but it was.

Dec.3 at 4:44 pm

Russ Bengtson says:
I would give up any two players on the Bulls for Rasheed Wallace. Immediately.

Dec.3 at 4:49 pm

white hot eboy says:
Deng and Hinrich? Doubtful. Yes, Jones, Sheed’s skillset and basketball IQ are tremendous but your follow-up statements are oh so accurate today.

Dec.3 at 4:52 pm

Russ Bengtson says:
Remember when Rasheed and Bonzi Wells threw balls the length of the court at someone in practice and drilled them in the nether regions? I can’t remember exactly who and when it was, I just remember it happened.

Dec.3 at 4:53 pm

Russ Bengtson says:
ANY TWO PLAYERS. They’re all playing like absolute crap. No way I’d give Luol a $70 million deal right now. And Kirk has been the worst of them all. I’d even throw in Ben Wallace for free.

Dec.3 at 4:57 pm

white hot eboy says:
Wasn’t it the big Euro center who also played for the Heat for a time, Russ? Stepania? I can’t remember his name and don’t feel like looking it up.

Dec.3 at 4:57 pm

riggs says:
i would say ben is the worst russ, especially after his proclamation and his raise.

Dec.3 at 5:01 pm

white hot eboy says:
Bulls team synergy was destroyed by the insistance of Ben’s wearing of his stupid headband during the preseason. Couldn’t just go with the program, could you, Big Ben?

Dec.3 at 5:06 pm

Russ Bengtson says:
The Bulls have a bunch of jump shooters who can’t get open looks because no one is good enough to draw a double team. Also, Ben Gordon is still 6-1, and Ben Wallace is playing like Ben Kingsley.

Skillet Forilla says:
Maxiell should get pegged before every game. He was a beast. And Sheed is Amazing. Thank you.

does sheed still smoke? probably

Dec.3 at 6:32 pm

Allenp says:
It was that African cat for Georgetown who got hit in the nuts by Sheed and Bonzi. Ruben something.

Dec.3 at 6:47 pm

albie1kenobi says:
instant classics indeed. i suppose they still treat maxiell as a rookie?
btw anyone else things the bulls are dunzo for the season?

Dec.3 at 7:43 pm

Skillet Forilla says:
Reuben Boumje-Boumje! thanks for jogging my memory. (prolly needs more of a triathalon, but that’s a different story)

Dec.3 at 9:36 pm

Hubert says:
i think they injured jason’s leg

Dec.3 at 10:08 pm

Skillet Forilla says:
^^^ what? he got 18 and 11. That’s great for He-Who-Eats-Babies

Dec.4 at 1:25 am

whooo! says:
i think sheed has better combined basketball and physical talent than tim duncan. BUT, sheed never came close to figuring out how to put everything together, while duncan did. and as much as ppl think duncan’s lack of emotion equate lack of effort, the comparison between the two is perfect for showing that enthusiasm doesn’t equal heart, cuz sheed’s energetic and riled up, but like russ mentioned, he barely feels like playing most the time.

Dec.4 at 1:27 am

whooo! says:
it also helps the comparison of those pf’s that’s one a complete nutcase while the other’s a cerebral player who keeps calm. can’t really get more similar yet different players.

Dec.4 at 8:49 am

Jukai says:
…. that above statement comparing Rasheed Wallace to Tim Duncan is exactly why Rasheed is so disgustingly overrated. Hysterical, but overrated.
