Proof That Jerry Sloan Curses

Not that we needed any, but still, ESPN microphones and cameras caught the cantankerous coach swearing in the locker room, and he’s none too pleased.

This was a f*cking stupid idea to begin with. Other players & coaches should follow suit and cuss like mad. There’s a difference between us fans wanting more “cool coverage” and being way too intrusive, and this clearly crosses the line.

There’s enough stuff that athletes put out on the internet for us, from the growing number of blogs to uh, entertaining Myspace pages. But these are for the most part voluntarily put up there. Putting a mic in the locker room’s pushing it, and it’s a matter of time before more cuss words are aired, or players and coaches stand up against it. Really stupid.

Did anyone, literally anyone, think this wouldn’t happen eventually. It’s sports, it gets emotional, people cuss, and the censors are bound to F*#k up eventually. I agree with joel…yes, fans deserve cool coverage, but honestly, all the entertaining locker room talk we might enjoy is not exactly PG.

I’d be far more shocked to find out that Jerry Sloan DIDN’T curse.

And interviews during games are the worst. Thank God Red Auerbach didn’t live long enough to see this sh*t.

Yeah actually I find the whole interviewing during a game ridiculous, you don’t see it at all in any non US sports. Is this mandatory,do you have to talk?If I was a coach I’d make sure none of my players would talk during the game.

Jerry needs to calm down. The world heard him curse. I don’t think his HOF chances are hurt that much.

There’s many young impressible kids who watch games. With League Pass, the numbers grow exponentially. I don’t mind Sloan cursing, what coach doesn’t curse? I do blame ESPN for broadcasting it. Who didn’t see this train wreck in the making?

For those purists out there, I meant impressionable.

The NBA is just trying to hide their weak game by adding gimmicks like locker room cameras. What they need to do is show us some good competitive games, not make us listen to useless interviews in the middle of the game that don’t provide us with any insight whatsoever.

The fact that this is even being discussed is a testament to how awful the League is becoming.

Am I the only one who thought more cursing by the players and coach will mean more ratings?
