Free Knicks at Nets tickets

Contest… NBA TRIVIA CONTEST!

By Sam Rubenstein

It’s time for another giveaway. Knicks at Nets, tomorrow night (Wednesday) in Jersey. I have two tickets to give away, and I should also point out that you can get discounted tickets to the game by going here and using the promo code: BATTLE. To pick up the tickets, all you have to do is be able to go to the game and claim them. From your friends at SLAMonline!

Now, for the contest. Steph won’t be there as he grieves his father’s passing. The positive story lines between these two teams are few and far between, but I will go with one of them. Besides, this is the battle for New York-New Jersey NBA Supremacy!

Jason Kidd is nearly averaging a triple double this season. His latest, in a loss to Memphis, was the 91st triple double of his career. To win the tickets, answer for me in the comments:

Who is the only other player from the first triple double of Kidd’s career that is still an active NBA player. If you need a hint I can give it to you, but I trust you’ll be able to figure it out with a little bit of research.

Good luck!

This is some sort of a joke right, Sam? Like if you get to East Rutherford, you have to tour the construction grounds of the new stadium in order to get the tickets. You should throw in 10 bucks to pack on some Rutts Hutt to have the winners stomachs upset by the time they get into the arena.

Eddie Jones IS big O. He got out of retirement, but he did elegantly, unlike Mike did with the Wiz. The same stands for the Bill Russel goes “Greg Oden” saga.

Russ Bengtson says:
Also, I refuse to believe that Lucious Harris is officially retired.

YEs, it is Eddie Jones. Dan is the winner. I guess I should have made that much harder. Oh well. Funny how the Lakers last man off the bench in Kidd’s first triple double was Sam Bowie and in his latest triple double Darko got a DNP.

This game is going to be pretty bad. I’m going on a field trip with my marketing class to go see this game. What makes it worse is, we’ll probably be all the way in the top seats. Ugh. I just hope Richard Jefferson puts on a clinic. If that happens, I’ll be less pained.
