Chris Bosh Deserves Your All-Star Vote
OK, so maybe he doesn’t really deserve a starting spot on the All-Star squad, but Chris Bosh’s attempt to get one is absolutely glorious.
In a promotional video clip that’s spreading around the Internets like wild fire, we see the normally reserved Bosh decked out head-to-toe in cowboy gear, with the requisite Texas used car salesman twang in full effect.
Though Chris knows he has almost no chance of getting the nod over the likes of KG and LeBron in the Eastern Conference, he still went ahead with the hilarious campaign and had a lot of fun.
“I wanted to do something different, and I noticed that I was behind in the polls,” Bosh said with a laugh.
“I know those guys are going to get the majority of votes and I wanted to do something to get me an edge,” Bosh said.

Bosh isn’t as good as Garnett, although I’d say he has the upside to be just as good. In an all-star game though, I’d rather see Bosh, he’s a little bit more fun to watch.

At least Chris is making an effort toward the fans which does not feel like it is just for his ego. I thought it was hilarious. If i was talented enough to emulate my heroes thats the type of player i would want to be off the court.

I smell Bosh’s agent at work here… Do you really think Bosh sat thought “Oh, I’m not getting many All Star votes! I need to shoot a wacky ad!” I’d bet his more concerned with the fact that he’s the ‘muscle’ on a FIBA jumpshooting team.
