I’m with Sam on the Karl Malone thing… and with Lang on the quote of the year thing. Sam is always entertaining, but not always for the reporters. Do NOT ask him a stupid question. When I covered the Raps briefly, he used to regularly eat beat reporters for dinner.

When I was in high school, my coach told us to pull on guys’ leg hair, or to deliver a hard as hell foul early to keep certain people out of the paint. Then we lost the majority of our games. Probably because I sat on the bench, but whatever.
