Reaction to Gilbert’s Injury
Last night, Russ posted the sad news that Gilbert Arenas is going to miss the next three months following surgery on his knee. And today, we bring you reaction from Wizards fans and from Gil himself…

Gilbert: The man is obviously crestfallen - he even informs us that he just broke up with his girl and that he’s lonely - but he’s doing his best to remain optimistic:
I’m going to stay positive this time, because feeling sorry for myself didn’t work last time. It just kind of hurt that everything I did this summer really meant nothing, to the point where I’m rehabbing again.

I think its karma, all the guy does is talk about how great he is and how nobody can stop him…maybe if he would shut his mouth he might stay on the court longer

as long as caron butler and antawn jamison are healthy, the wizards will remain competitive. and besides, blatche says he wouldn’t mind being the next gilbert. so to sum it up: enjoy your 3 months gil, you won’t be missed (but be sure to keep blogging)

I’m a celtics fan, so i sorta didnt like gilbert for what he said in the beginning of the year about the celtics. But u can honestly say, I’ll miss him this year.
