Russ Bengtson says:
While Vince certainly does seem to get hurt a lot, this instance was more or less unavoidable. I’m just surprised the injury wasn’t worse.

Russ, you’re posting more than Eboy. Check yourself.

Poor Vince.

Keith says:
I don’t actaully know what ‘check yourself’ means. I just thought it sounded right.

Chris O says:
Checking yourself prevents wrecking yourself. Sounds like good usage to me, Keith. To be fair to Vince, this is the first time in a long time he’s made that wince face.

Russ Bengtson says:
*checks self* OK, now what?

Keith says:
Just make sure you don’t wreck yourself.

Jefferson had a good first half, came out cold in second. Seems like an unusual number of ankles this early season. Nets need help at the center. J-Kidd is highest rebounder.

I remember when Vince was on teh cover of NBA live and someone redid it with him laying on the ground. That was hilarious and appropriate.

Keith, I “actaully” feel flattered that you mention me, even when I’m not around. Sorry, Russ, that these clods lumped your good name in with mine.

White Hot: Why do you always pick up on spelling mistackes (that one is especially for you)?

I couldn’t think of another way to break your b*lls back. I’m dumb like that sometimes. Sorry.

Just in case anyone was wondering, VC has played in more games than Kobe, T-Mac, Wade, AI, Ray allen, duncan, shaq , and a hell of a lot more people in the last 3 seasons so I think the hating is quite unneccesary….

speedy says:
Mike is right .
Why are so many people hating a highflyer that brought us countless highlights.
I think he didn’t want to land on Paul’s foot when he delivered another dunk.
Think before you write . And Kevin ,the man that did the first comment, please let me know why he deserved that injury. You are d*mb.

That dunk was nasty!

Vince used to be injury prone, at least Iin Toronto, that is. How valid those injuries were, however, are still up for debate. Paul Pierce stuck his leg out on purpose to punish the Tin Man for dunking on his team, that bastard.

That’s a mild sprain, he had already landed on his left. Take a game off and be back again for Boston on wednesday.

416 says:
when vince carter lands on someones foot he feels how a normal person would feel if a plane landed on there foot. vince hustled the nets in to locking him up now they are going to get what toronto got in return for throwing him max money. it doesnt matter if he played 82 games in a contract year he is still the definition of SOFT. hes not gonna play more than 65 games ever again. the boos will start before the new year.

416 says:
also look for his go to move to be a streaky fade away and the ft attempts drop to about 4.5 a game
