Rasheed Wallace Is Still Rasheed Wallace

Uhm……Sheed is actually pretty much on-point with his current rant. Even though the Sternbot had a few transistors burst from the reaction option programmed into him that can’t handle conspiracy theories. .

Sheed is almost entirely right. I mean… the star treatment is so obvious now that if you deny it you must be blind or something like that. For sure, LeBron is a great player, but the way that the league has built up his image is borderline disgusting. What has LeBron done to date? mmm nothing? And yet, he’s already as popular as some of the league’s greatest stars… in the history of the league! COME ON! The phantom fouls always going the star’s way… that can’t be denied. You touch Kobe, Duncan, Garnett, Stoudamire, Carter, BOsh… AUTOMATIC FOUL! Kobe can hit someone in the eye, and people still discuss wether it should be called or not… Sheed is right on here.

sheed the anti-establishment…anybody else sense a sheed/bron cage match? It’s like Undertaker vs the rock…get em sheed…either that or a towel on a pole match, where the victor must climb the pole (nh) grab the white towel, and throw it in his opponents face…special guest referee arvydas sabonis

I had to post something here due to my screen name… David Stern! Wow! He’s basically saying that since Rasheed is making a good living, he should shut up, enjoy the money and don’t question anything!!! I can’t believe I just read that.

There’s a big difference between showing respect and turning a blind eye. Good for Rasheed for speakin’ out even though this probably won’t change anything.

I like how Sheed infers that wrestling was once real. I also like Stern hinting that Sheed made it to the NBA through some other anvenue than his hard work.

two things are true here: 1) sheed’s right about the star treatment; 2) sheed needs to prove it on the court. i know they seem like contradictory statements, but so be it. i’m tired of his grumpiness. i’d like to see him stop feuding with coaches, alienating teammates, and putting his emotions ahead of winning games before i listen to his sage advice about what’s wrong with the league. yeah, the star treatment is totally old and totally overblown, but oversensitive grumpy prima donnas are pretty old too.

jj: LBJ has done nothing? WOW! Do you watch basketball, guy?. Star treatment or not you have to perform. I’m sure some of the stars from the past got the same treatments, we just know nothing about it. And of course, these guys are now LEGENDS. Face it, this is not groundbreaking news. I love Sheed, but if you are so anti establishment then shut the f up when things don’t go your way.. you didn’t wann a play by the rules.. so EAT IT!!
— Brian: wrestling was real, son! Look it up! Bret Harts dad wrestled tigers and bears back in the day! And haven’t you heard of the Dungeon where he turned people into pretzels?. If you think its scripted then the NBA is the Young and the Restless. Tim Douchebag? I rest my case, champ!! Oh sure the Sternbot knew nothing of it! Sure! That’s why Douchbag was at that game where Amare got tossed. OK bud!

Sheed a done this Sheed a done that. As much as I enjoy his antics he hasn’t done enough on the court to impress me yet. I hope he starts playing and stop opening his mouth. He’s played himself out and fans around him. Just deliver homeboy and stop running at the mouth.

Umm… “Blames everyone but himself (and his team) for shortcomings: Check. Blames the League’s “Star System” for latest Playoff defeat: Check”. Now I’m only from Finland, but having learned the English language for something like 20 years, I kinda think the sentence “I still don’t think they (Cavaliers) beat us, we beat ourselves” just about kills the first two points. And about the WWF thing: millions of people every day, especially in journalism and politics, make caricatures about their subject matter to demonstrate something. You just did that yourself. That said, the Pistons and Sheed did very much blow away their own playoff chances, and I do hope they look in the mirror first and foremost. But David Stern… It’s almost like he’s trying to make it as hard as possible to like him. With those type of not-quite-worthy-of-commentary remarks, he (again) seems the real story here.

Jared says:
dude wrestling is scripted…the wrestlers are real athletes and do face a lot of pain, and they take a beating in the ring, but their moves are scripted, their interviews are scripted, the storylines, are scripted…it’s sports entertainment…they train hard and alot of them do know how to actually wrestle, like “amateur” wrestle, Stu Hart put a beat down on quite a few people, he taught them about submission and technique, but be real, wrestling is scripted, hopefully, basketball is not…

im so sick of sheed and im his biggest fan,but after yesterday lost i threw away all his jerseys im tired of seeing a 6′11 guy who is afraid of taking it to the hole, and shooting 3’s. go join the WNBA, also billups the games that he played bad cause he was”hurt” he should have been a man and told flip to take him out and put stockey in. and flip has to go he doesnt know basketball he takes the bench out cause he wants his starters to come in and lose the game.i give it out to the bench and hamilton and mcdyse they gave it all they had.sheed billups and prince, are at fault and they should retired or get traded to a loosing team were they belong
