Mike Bibby Sidelined

Tough break for the Kings. Point guard Mike Bibby is out for the next six weeks (and quite possibly longer) with torn ligaments in his left thumb. He underwent successful surgery on Saturday.

Gerard Himself says:
Teammates of Mike Bibby compare him with Larry David from Curb Your Enthusiasm… why is that? Other than that: great start for an exciting Kings season. Tough luck. No Artest, no Bibby, Kevin Martin better get back to scoring 30 ppg.

Sacramento are going to challenge for one of the worst teams this year. No significant trades and no Mike Bibby.

go Shareef! wait.. even assuming that he’s back to 100% since his knee surgery, he’ll probably either get injured pretty soon or be stuck on the bench anyhow.. poor guy.. 23, 10 and 3 as a go-to guy on the league’s worst team and i figured there’d be no way it could get worse for him.. well, i guessed wrong.. he’s now considered one of the biggest “losers” in pro sports period, and is now bound to get 10, 5 and 2 on one of the league’s worst teams before he retires in a few years…
