Even Former Sixers Don’t Like Philly’s Chances

If you’re a Philly fan, and thought Khalid’s team preview was depressing, prepare to leap off a bridge.

There’s no hiding that this team is going nowhere fast, but there are worse teams to be a fan of this year imo. These guys will give a good effort if nothing else, but I definitely see them finishing last in the East (yikes).

…Bobcats might give them a run for their money though. Depends how Richardson meshes I guess.

Rob: You really think the Bobcats aren’t better than the Sixers? Are you serious?

For the record, CURRENT Sixers probably don’t like Philly’s chances.

At least they are in the East. Sonics, Wolves, and the Clippers will be right there with them. Maybe the Clippers will draft someone in the lottery who can actually make the team.

yea..bobcats are better than sixers.. unless L.williams becomes the next AI…and scores 28pts a night… but that wont happen cause andre miller will take up all the time at PG

No, I think the Bobcats are a lot better, but I could see them falling this year for some reason. The roster improved but the injuries are pretty considerable. They SHOULD finish much better than the Sixers but I get a feeling where it wouldn’t surprise me if they were right there with them.

The east is much improved and very strong this year… Philly is gonna have a VERY VERY hard time this season. Hey, they have a bright future though. Good young players and will continue to grow, and if they land say Elton Brand as a free agent next summer theyll be right back in the thick of things as he is exactly the piece they need to contend in the east again (Miller, iguodala, Korver, brand, Dalembert…. w/ good young bench and coach larry brown… Go sixers!)
