Not sure what Frye is getting at with his ’slandered’ comment, but he be right to be pissed. Frye was one of the few (only?) decent Knick draft picks this decade. He was placed in Larry Brown’s doghouse for some unknown reason and never got back out. Here’s hoping he finds a decent spot in Portland.

Um, Sammy? Channing Frye played two years with the Knicks and was at his most productive under Larry Brown as a rookie. And Larry Brown didn’t trade anybody–least of all Channing Frye. Not only was Brown JUST the coach, but he was fired over a YEAR before Frye was traded to the Blazers. Chill.

Amen Russ…And Channing isn’t welcome back with open arms…yet. He wasn’t a bad Knick, he just floundered in his second year. We expected huge things out of him after he showed glimpses as a rook. He did nothing in a more relaxed (let’s be nice) system last year. He did his best Dirk Nowtizki impression, chillin on the perimeter, shootin jumpers, not crashin boards or bein aggressive. Even if the Knicks don’t have guards (or anyone) that can shoot, I’d rather have my 7-footers in the paint. F*ck Channing Frye’s fake Nick Cannon @ss.
