Because in the last few days, no matter what you say, regarding any topic, so many peoples commnets are taken out of context. If you’re not in on the SLAM boards “style” you run into these horrible topics and off the wall comments and then a majority of the people posting have their guards up and it make’s for extremly frustrating conversations. If you want to comment about yourself in a hateful way, cool, like I was making the joke all day on Monday that I hated all white people. Yeah, it would make sense for a white guy to hate all white people, right? Idiots.

I understood Goody’s comment because we have never had any contact here and she didn’t know what my MO is. I hope from now on she knows I’m a fan of her work. But yeah, the white people here think one way about certain issues, the African-American people think another way about certain issues, and alot of times, shi* is lost in the translation of comments. But it’s nice when everyone has agreement about one issue (Jena, for example)and we can all freely comment without fear of retribution from someone who takes every single comment as being serious or hurtful.
