All the Serbian folks I know are pissed at him. He is going after ther refs, instead of questioning his and the Serbian Natinoal teams attitued on and off the court. Representing their country like that is a shame. The same thing happend in Belgrad. Clubbing all night, hookers at the hotel, and then being mad at the refs after loosing. They would have the best team in the world, if they could get their act together.

Darko is just going after the refs, nothing else. He ain’t killing anybody, he just insulted them and called them b****es, assholes and how he wanted to do their wives and daughters (very common from were we are). They were probably just down the corridor. In any case, making excuses is something he has been doing since he is States. We over here just hope that he can become the leader one day that Vlade Divac, Zarko Paspalj or Predrag Danilovic were and than we will be back kicking some butts on the international scene. But until then we have to listen to these dudes making excuse after excuse, fighting with each other who should take shots, carry the ball and so on, while losing to teams not even half that talented…..

I used to play in a league in New Zealand with one team that were all Serbian immigrants. They were just as likely to fight each other as finish the game. Good times.

What he said was definitely stupid. You just don’t say that out loud even if you feel it. The refereeing was a joke and I also felt cheated and angry after that game. But you just don’t express it in that way. For Slam online: Aren’t you not afraid someone will sue you. This is the 2nd or 3rd time you are misinterpreting statements in Serbian. There was no mentioning of killing. The was a lot of f**cking going around. And he wanted to do a lot of it to a lot of people but no terrible acts no killings. What he said was a disgrace to Serbia, now when people all over the world see this, they assume all Serbs are like this, which definitely is not true. Darko just proved he is an angry, emotional, uneducated runt of a kid after this and I’ve lost almost all respect for him (I had quite a bit for him). I am Serbian myself and if I were to translate what he said, he would be suspended for more than one season in the NBA for sure. The comments he said were so heavy and ugly that I have never heard that amount of cussing in one instance (other than a couple ugly fights), not to mention the fact that it was on national television broadcasted also all over the planet. Let’s just say there was a lot of “sucking and f***ing” along with some discriminatory comments.. I didn’t get a chance to see the game myself but I heard we did get cheated. I am a basketball player myself and I would be pissed off as well but I would NEVER act like that to the media..
Darko, grow up and work on your game instead of thinking you’re Juelz Santana or Cam’Ron or something…
